hello, I have a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 and recently it started stalling after filling up with gas. It’s been throwing a PO 455 and PO 497 code. This problem happened last year I replaced the purge valve under the hood and they solve the issue. It’s been 11 months and it started again so I was unsure if the part went bad. Rarely will I get a message that the gas cap has come loose. Going to replace the gas cap tomorrow to see if this is part of the issue but was wondering if anyone else had any fixes for these codes? I know that the charcoal canister can become clogged or may need replacement, which is under the passenger rear side, but have not wanted to go over there quite yet. I’m unsure if the entire charcoal canister or the valve back there is the place to start or if I end up going back there just replace it all at once. if anyone else has had trouble with this outside of fixing the purge valve under the hood or mod valve, let me know. Also, I do not overfill it with gas. I let it fill up and stop where it needs to.Thanks.
