Buy -GLS550
Moving to MB from BMW
I am seeing multiple price points for GLS550 on online sites and a few dealers i talked to.
What should be the Percentage discount off MSRP i should be looking at for a decent deal.
I am looking at
GLS- 550, New, 2018 model with some bells and whistles
I talked to a dealer last night and he was offering 6% off the MSRP for a demo model with 1400 miles.
The one that i saw -Is the Dealer 'Executive Car' Never Sold. (Also Looking to Finance and not lease )

If you are looking at a "demo" 2018 GLS550 - you need to know a bit more on the specifics of what is meant by that...
1. If "dealer demo" - then you will be 2nd owner - and the possible added value for you would be Mercedes Certified Warranty - which takes warranty out to 5yrs from original in-service date and Unlimited Miles - depending on your ownership intention that "added warranty" may - or may not - be of value to you. On purchase will qualify for Mercedes New Car Finance Rates
2. If "dealer demo" - then that rig would also qualify for Mercedes 1st Class Lease - not as Mercedes Certified - since you will have original New Car Warranty thru 3yrs lease term
3. If "manufacturer demo/executive car" (also termed Brass Hat) - then you are original owner - so Newe Car Rates (from any bank) and Mercedes 1st Class Lease applies
Since 2018's were delivered August - then again you need to sniff out the details on "what type demo" you're talking about.
GLS550's are in relatively tight supply - colors and options count here - and will stay in tight supply since freshening 2019 model may come out a bit earlier-than-normal next year
If there was a target for "demo's" like this - it might be considered shooting for 10%
You DON'T want to buy a GLS550 just based on %age - meaning color and exact features are ALWAYS important on a roughly $100K MB - you don't want to be driving a MB that doesn't have the right-stuff-for-you
