Factory remote start is by the app only. Check out Mid-City Engineering if you want remote start from the key/fob.

The Mid-City Engineering keyfob option works well. I had one installed in a 2010 E350 and loved it! I guess this is why I'm so disappointed with the GLS mobile app version.

Not sure about the ‘18’s, but my ‘13 only parallel parks (but still worth it).

I attempted a rear-in perpendicular park with my my ‘17 GLE, and it didn’t quite succeed. I need to try it again. Initial position of the car at the start of the auto parking maneuver is important.

My vehicle parallel auto-parks reliably and easily.

How were you able to do that? Is there a separate sequence? I want to make sure my ‘13 doesn’t have it.

I drove in parking lot and when the arrow came up on the dash it then asked if I want to park and showed the spot. I will take a picture and a video when I can.

tire pressures GLS 450
Can anyone advise what is the optimal tire pressure for comfort and handling? The door post sticker shows F/R 44 and 47 psi which i am currently using, but i find the steering a bit vague at low speeds. Thanks for your help.

So far I have successfully auto-parked with three scenarios:

- parallel park on right (passenger's side NA/EU)
- parallel park on left (driver's side NA/EU)
- perpendicular park, front of vehicle facing outwards

Smooth and trouble free. It takes the user (driver) some learning. Once learned, the feature is very good. 2017 W166 GLE350W4.

Recommended tire pressures are located INSIDE FUEL FILLER DOOR - for SUV's I set front and back same pressure.

For GLS450 I ask my techs to set 38 PSI - which my customers seem to like/drive=feel and also higher the pressure (over let's say 34) better the overall trea life.

Pressures inside driver's door frame for manuf ref only - and WAY TOO HARSH at those pressures - same with PSI on the actual tire itself
