No AMG exterior or night package for new GLS 450
Can anyone confirm - the new 2020 GLS 450 does not offer the AMG or Sport exterior package or even night package? They do offer these on the new GLE 350. Everything looks amazing about the new 450 - except for that awful front till and whole front face of the 450 the 580 is perfect. I ave 2013 550 was waiting for this come out to order the new one - can't afford the new 580 and was so happy to,see the new 0-60 numbers on the 450 5.9 sec is pretty quick for that car - the current version is like 7.9 - that's amazing. Does anyone have a order form??
thanks

So -I can get a $56000 GLE with the AMG exterior that looks identical to a $100,000 GLS 580 but I can't get a & $80,000 GLS 450 with that option - that font is so so UGLY without the option - this changes this car for me big time - I have had 4 GL's in a row and this one without the option might make me get something else X7 or Navigator ughhhh!!!

I get it - I know that there has to be some difference between the 450 and 580 - however make the new 450 front grill is so ugly - the rest of the car is amazing to me - the rear the side panels the wheel arcs and of course the interior - at least the current 450 has a bigger sportier front end - well it is what it is - not sure what to do - my E lease is up in 8 months and I have been waiting for this new GLS to trade in the current 550 - will have to actually go look at them - I went and looked at the GLE 350 and 450 and what a huge difference with the AMG package completely different car

Agreed on that - we have an E450 cabriolet with - you guessed it - AMG line. I'm surprised because they will slap AMG on ANYTHING at this point . Except the GLS 450 I guess . . .

2015 GL550
This is my first post here and also a first time german car owner. I have only driven japanese cars in the past and my other car is a 2010 Acura TL. We bought the 2015 GL 550 from a private party (a doctor in the Washington DC) area. He had it up to date with regular maintenance at the dealership in Arlington VA and had 55,300 miles on the odo when I got it from him in Feb of this year. So far I am very pleased with the vehicle. Ride is excellent and so is the power. This thing can haul *** considering the weight. The only work I had done on the vehicle is 4 new Continental Conti tires and the recommended 60k maintenance at the dealer. Apart from it, this car has been a dream and my wife likes it very much as well. Has all the options except the designo leather and the radar based cruise.
This is the picture the seller has orignally posted for sale last year. I will upload more recent one's soon.

I drove a 450. 0-60 seems just below 6 second range. It drove great, much better handling than previous gen. However, I recommend you don't buy one!!! EVERYTHING seems to be an option. A thoroughly optioned one at more than 100k (including the electronic suspension). If you desire a well equipped GLS it might be wise to bite the bullet and go for a "basic" 580 which will include most options plus much better acceleration and towing performance for not much more coin. BTW that was also true of the previous model but now there are even more expensive options to choose from.

That's what I did.

And an extra 100 or so miles per tank of gas if you don't mind more modest performance. Loaded CPO GLS450s are hard to come by and sell fast. The 2017's are all coming off lease now and very few have designo leather and drivers assist package. They all seem to have premium package, parking assist, and lane keep assist packages.
