body sway side to side over slightly uneven road
I am a 2017 GLS550. I noticed this strange excessive body sway left to right while driving on slightly uneven road or going over small bumps. Anyone feels that too?

2020 S560
Same issue with 2018 S560 W222
I have a 2018 S560 with about 40k miles and running on non runflats 20inch wheels. I replaced my runflats thinking it would resolve the rear end swaying when I hit a small bump or pothole. Did anyone have a solution to this issue ? In sport suspension mode the swaying is there but very slightly reduced.

It sounds like what you are experiencing is tram lining which is typical of wide sports tires. Deflating tires to normal load helps a little bit (see fuel flap tire pressure sticker).
Hire a programmer like @BenzNinja to do it.

2017 GLS 550 sway over bumps solved
I had that sway, wheel hop sensation over bumps too. I thought it was the shocks as well. I removed the rear wheels and disconnect the bottom of the shocks and cycled them up and down and they were firm and smooth. They felt like new shocks. so I surmised that wasn't the issue. I saw a Youtube video from a guy who was troubleshooting his Airmatic system a he said if you have drivability issues try replacing the valve block. I did it and the problem vanished!

2018 GLS 550, 2011 E90 M3
I've had my 2018 GLS550 and it used to handle quite well. Then one day it just became damn scarry at higher highway speeds - changing lanes, etc. Same problem, crazy sway, and lunging between lanes. I have new sway bar links ready to install.....but this valve block suggesting is intriguing! I will give it a try!

I am having the same issue and would also be interested in the link. This is my second GLS 450 (previous was a 2017, now we have a 2021), and the handling of the newer one is nowhere near as good as the older one, including in sport mode.
Is this valve block replacement a DIY thing, or typically mechanic only, or only something a Mercedes dealership would be likely to attempt?
