The car can not restart

The car can not restart
last week the engine suddenly shut down when I drove down from MT Washington to the ground, at the begging the wheel is very hot, and then the engine can not restart. The car was towed to the dealer for about a week, and they do not know the reason and how to fix it. Does anybody have suggestions? The car is GLS 450 2018. thanks a lot.

The engine is seized because you drove it up and down Mount Washington? Holy sh*&%!
We drove our old 1982 Volvo 240 wagon up that mountain in 1999 and the only thing we needed to change afterwards were the brake pads.

If you look at the bottom of the second page it states that they started to fix the engine, then found a bad main bearing so ended up installing a remanufactured engine instead.
This still all begs the question of why the engine seized in the first place. Spun rod bearings are usually related to extreme over speed or lubrication failure. It seems to me the engine electronics should have prevented an overspeed by forcing an upshift, which leaves a lubrication failure...

Anyhow, I'm glad you were able to get it fixed, and you didn't have to pay.
I guess, not knowing what happened, I'll refrain from driving ours up there.

At the end of the bill it says that the found a blown internal fuse in the starter pre fuse box. Probably that was the whole issue rather than all other parts?
I have seen others having issue and when they replaced the 30G relay or the F32 prefuse box, all the issues were resolved and the car started. Just thinking if the fuse was the reason.

The fuse wouldn't have blown coming down the mountain, nor would that have caused the engine to stall. More likely he had an oil related engine failure and then blew the fuse trying to start a seized engine.
