I did it - 2017 Unicorn (M276 with Offroad Pkg) purchased
It will become my new adventure rig for the Colorado mountains (based in Denver). When it gets here it needs 3 things;
- It has some sort of small leak at the transfer case. It's going straight to a shop to have that identified and remedied.
- Both diff fluids will be changed
- Winter tires. I've been following some other threads on this. I am not interested in replacing the 20's at this time, and at this point in the season my options are somewhat limited.
Buying this I fully expected to spend some more money to get it sorted. Goal is to take it to 200k. miles. In my view I'll still be ahead compared to leasing new at 4-500/ mo.
Oh, and I already purchased the YOUCANIC Pro UCAN-II-B.

Thanks, stay tuned! Super stoked. I've been reading the manual.(yep, confirmed dork). My current vehicle is a 2003 7.3L F250. It has, maybe, 6 dials total on the dash and tens of features! It's going to be nice to have vented seats

I am neck deep in oil / fluids research. I had no idea bobistheoilguy existed until last night.
I've come to appreciate Mercedes' attention to detail and how easy it is to consume.
