Awaiting a 2021 GLS580
wood on the upper rear portions of both front seats and also replaces the mesh with mb-text at the bottom rear portion of the front seats.

Does anyone have this on a vehicle? I’ve looked at a lot of videos and seen it maybe once. The dealer
ordering guide makes it look decent.

I’m particularly not sure how it replaces the netting. Is there just no storage at all any more?

The trim is above the storage

The problem is that in the DOG I can’t tell what the lower part is (below the wood), where the netting has been replaced. Does anyone know or have close up photos? Is it some kind of storage pocket still?

Doesn't look like there is netting on the new one. It likes leather pockets instead of the net.

Per description above the pockets are MB-Tex.

Here's pics of mine. This really should have been part of the Executive Package. I don't think most people will care about this option unless you have adults that spend a lot of time in the back. It does make the standard mesh pockets look really cheap by comparison though.

I'm guessing that grill just above the pocket has something to do with ventilated seats.

Darlop, seeing the picture of it makes it look a heckofa lot nicer than the DOG photo - especially with the ambient light under the metal strip.

This youtube video is really good if you want to get an idea how the “Exclusive trim package” and “Executive rear seat package” look with a darker interior (e.g., magma grey/black).

It does look good but like I said it really depends on who is going to be sitting in the back. I doubt kids are going to appreciate it much so it would be wasted on them.

Can you Get the part number for the seat back. I have the part numbers for the wood but need the seat back.

the grill is for the speakers in the seat in the higher end audi package
