I was thinking of asking my Merc garage to add an additional for Carplay/Android Auto.
Anyone know the part number for multiple ports?
Its a plastic housing inside the compartment circled in blue.

You'll also notice by the comb there is a wireless Carplay that I used to us in my AMG GLE 63s from the center console. Worked like a dream, the goal is to use this again.
Makes no sense to have a wireless charger nexto a Carplay/Android Auto port!? If its plugged into it its charging already!
The only port with CP/AA is the one towards the front of the center console closest to the driver. I don't think you'll be able to find a way to move that capability into the armrest storage unless you physically extend the existing AA/CP port into it. The USB port in the armrest is used for music on a USB stick and manually updating the navi map content.
There are USB C dongles for wireless AA/CP that might help you achieve part of your goals.

I'm partial to this style since it's USB C and it's a single platform OS (so only AA or CP but not both). I find single platform dongles much more reliable because it doesn't require additional software in determining which type of phone OS it needs to connect to.

Although that looks like a decent solution, I really want to be able to move or splice into the usb port to add another AA/CP port in the center console. This will just keep things tidy.
As for the data port, I need that for my dashcam.

The car is booked in for Tuesday for a software update to enable the dashcam, so I will ask the tech while I'm there.
