Why Package conflict? Convenience OR Energizing Comfort, why not BOTH?
When at the dealership, the online ordering system would not allow both packages. I was told it was (most likely) because both packages included the ventilated front seats. But the only way to get the 2nd row power sunshades is by ordering the Convenience pkg, there is no stand-alone option for this on the GLS450. Additionally, the only way to get the Energizing comfort is to order the Energizing pkg Plus, as it also is not offered as a stand-alone option.
Anyone have any thoughts on why these 2 pkgs are mutually exclusive??? It is not stipulated in the DOG.
I get the duplication of the ventilated seats, but then why not be able or have the system give the $450 credit for the duplication (the cost listed for the ventilated front seats)?
Or why not have the power sunshades as a stand-alone option (as available in the GLS580) so that a buyer could have all the features of both packages without the issue of the duplication of the ventilated front seats?
Im having a hard time choosing between the 2 packages, but having a harder time trying to figure out why I have to!
Anyone have any plausible reason? Is it just an oversight?

In our ordered GLS450 (production 2D/January) we ordered the convenience package and ordered the other item(s) from the engerizing comfort separately (massage seats and air balance)

I ended up getting the Energizing Comfort Package Plus package. Have the vehicle for 3 weeks now and haven't used it yet. The dealer didn't even bother to put in the fragrance bottle saying "you're not going to like this. Most people hate it." Of course, no mention of that when I was ordering the freaking thing. So I ended up not getting what I really wanted and getting something I probably won't use.

But the fragrance was in the compartment below the cargo load floor right next to the tire fit.
