$125 - Money well spent. Took me several hours just to remove. I am slow and did not have detailed instructions. I also had to modify the back support so make sure you purchase the one with a new back support. The only real problem besides that is I broke 2 aligning pins used for ease of install. Where the bumper meets the fender there are 2-3 bolts as I recall and the aligning pins stopped it from coming off so they broke. When you remove the bolts slide the bumper up and down on the fender to get it to pop off. The aligning pins slide into a slot so you need to release them. No problem if you break them you will just need to spend some more time aligning the bumper to the fender. Also if you are planning on paint protection film before the grille make sure the installer wraps the inside of the grill lip as it is more visible with the Panamericana grille.

entire bumper cover had to come off.
when you take the existing grille out, it's actually two pieces: the front facing.
then there's a black plastic backside. that one is for support and bracing the front grille. you reuse that piece.
that one, you have to cut it to discard the bottom side. only the top side is needed to hold the new grille and give it some support from the back.
otherwise, it's straight forward. the Panamericana grille fit without any modifications. the sensor and the camera clicks right on it.
you'll love it.

You mean this one ?
i bought this kit from mercteil website, the spare parts come from genuine, you can find spare parts to upgrade to gls 63. The grille comes with an abs plastic frame to replace the original chassis of the car. A full kit including the amg badge is quite expensive, I had to shell out 2700 € including shipping fee for this kit. But quality and warranty are genuine. however you can also buy a kit with 8/10 quality and quite cheap coming from china they also come with frame and logo, if you are not the type of person who is too strict about small details then me Think you can choose it to upgrade! After all, it's just plastic! I will give you the link for reference, because my friend also oder that kit from China and when I compare it it doesn't make much difference. However, I recommend that you go to experienced garages to do the assembly if you want a homogeneous beautiful product and not be affected by the standard joints of the car.
here is the link for the Genuine : https://mercteil.com/product/retrofi...-for-gls-class

ok and good luck ! Wish you have a nice retrofit product !

I am interested in doing the same, but not sure why the center missing "tooth", which make me think that I may need to get the genuine part, just the grille, not the whole front bumper sets. However, all the online Mercedes genuine part stores do not have the 2020- GLS AMG 63 listed as available option, not sure why.

because I have searched multiple online genuine parts store with Vin to no avail. I tried several different VINs. it appears the AMG63 vin is not in the parts system, however, my own vin works. Also all the online part stores including the dealer sites do not list GLS AMG 63 as an option. go check it yourself. I am afraid a trip to dealer may end up the same.

I haven't tried that yet. Do you know for sure it will work for this particular situation?

just give them the VIN and they can pull it up.
you can have them order the parts there or grab the part numbers and order it online.

There is not a 2020 GLS63 model AFAIK it is 2021model. Also the Panamericana grille you see in these pictures is not exactly the same shape as the GLS 63 AMG grille which is a little more oval. The "aftermarket" Panamericana grille will fit the GLS with AMG appearance package. The factory MB Panamericana grille is fitted into an entirely different bumper cover so if you want a true factory look you will require the entire bumper cover, grille and related parts.

after comparing the front of gls580 and GLS63, i think marchgroupich is right, the GLS63 OEM grille will not fit. you have to get the whole set including front bumper and the backings, which is quite expensive.
Unfortunately, all the aftermarket GLS panamerica grille missing the middle "tooth", not sure why. maybe they are actually come from the same manufacture from China.

My grill from China fit perfectly using all the original brackets and hardware and looks great. I installed it the day after buying the car.

Interested in swapping out the 450 front bumper for the aggressive looking 580. Has anyone done this already? Not particularly passionate about those LED daytime running lights either.

according to MB's spec, the front body width for 580 is 2.030m
the 450's body width is listed officially as (1.956-2.030m). not sure why there's a variable number for 450.
the seam where the front fender meets the front bumper cover may or may-not be the at exact same place, I wonder.
