I am thinking about the Asanti Black Label ABL-37 22 X 9 with a +38mm offset on all four corners along with…

4X Yokohama Ice Guards H075 - 285/45R22 114T XL

Not overly concerned about appearance in upper Wisconsin/Michigan winters so if there is a little tuck in or show on the quarter panels, I can live with it! Driveablity and safety are the priority.

Would greatly appreciate thoughts! Thanks in advance!
Did you try the setup?

Winter Tire Set Up for 2025 GLS 580

With our new GLS580 and the 23” wheel option we were surprised there was not an all season tire available. Looked at lots of options including used Benz wheels and new wheels that would work for the winter months. We travel from the Midwest to the East Coast for Thanksgiving and Christmas and go through the mountains of Pa. Weather can be dicey. Since the Winter setup will only be on for a few months and considering cost of OE wheels and new tires, we gave Tire Rack a call and they suggested a set of MSW wheels (Made by Oz) in 20” diameter with Blizzak Tires 285/50/R20. They fit perfect and the GLS rides better than the 23” option. The package came with Tires mounted and balanced and TPMS sensors installed and new wheel bolts all for $2700. Actually did it through my local tire store who for that price, installed the wheels and will store my summer set up. Previous options of OE wheels and tires were in the 4-6k price range. So let the salt and pot holes beat up the Winter set up and save the gorgeous 23’s for Spring. Just some info on what our choice was for other owners seeking options.

Like many of you, I have the 23" wheels with the summer performance Pirelli tires that came on the car. They look great, but provide no options for winter tires.

After a long search I finally found myself a set of 22" wheels and tires for my winter setup on my GLS 580! The wheels are AMG replicas.....I went with a 22" x 10" with a 38mm offset all around. I decided on a square setup to increase my options for tires, and I went with the CONTINENTAL VIKINGCONTACT 7 XL in 285/45R-22 (front and rear). The wheels and tires fit very well and generally look good....though not as good as my 23" setup, but for the winter they are fine.

The new front wheels/tires look good, and the 38mm offset actually pushes the wheels/tires out slightly more than the stock 23" wheels/tires. It's a nice flush look in the front. The new rears are a bit tucked in and I would like to push them out slightly with 15mm spacers, but I can't seem to find any spacers for the GLS.

Do you guys know where I can get a set of spacers for the GLS? Nobody seems to make any that are specific to the X167 GLS. Can I use any 5x112 bolt pattern 67mm hub centric spacers? I know I will need longer 15mm x 1.25mm thread bolts with the spacers....likely something around 43-45mm in length.

Please let me know....and sorry for the bad photo. It's been snowing here in CT and the roads are still wet. I just had the new 22" wheels mounted today and didn't have time to get the car washed or take a proper photo.
if you mean 66.56mm on the hub, there are some on eBay with the correct measurements and I “assume” finding the bolts isn’t a problem. However, they look pretty nice as is.

I may be on my own to find the proper lug and nuts and curious where can I find them. Especially i don't see any options for a ball seat.

I just found out about the lug issue today. Just bought a GLS 580 and tried to use our old MB snow package from our 18 GLS 550 and the lugs would not pass through.

Does anyone know where I can find lugs that would work? I called the dealer and they had no idea…

You'd have to drill the holes. @GregW / Oregon did it here:

Ti ones here would probably work. You need the M15x1.25 x45. It’s the bulge on the OEM ones that’s a problem.
