21 450 currently unavailable message
I have about 6k miles and at sporadic times I get currently unavailable, camera view restricted pop up. It’s very sporadic and seems in be happening more. About a few minutes later it seems to clear up. Anyone else have this? I’m sure if I bring it in, they won’t detect anything? This reminds me of Chevy issues now! Ugh
I’m going on a road-trip next month and need to figure out what to do.
thanks for any insight.

Might be a dirty windshield or dirty sensors or both. Did you try washing the vehicle?

I get that occasionally as well. Most of the time, I can identify the reason (it really struggles driving right into the sun shortly after sunrise or shortly before sundown). I did have it the other day for an unknown reason....I assumed some dirt or bug splatted somewhere, although overall the vehicle is really clean.
Keep us posted on what you find out. Seems like one of the things the dealer is only helpful if it is happening when you bring it in, but maybe worth a shot to have them check it.
EDIT: Saw that the "related thread that came up under this has good advise of cleaning the inside of the window where the camera is. With some instructions on how to remove the housing, so that might be a good attempt at a fix. I know the inside windows can get hazy over time.

Radio noise can also mess with the system, especially around airports where they may have surface radar running, high power radio transmitters, stuff like that. Once clear of the area the system picks up again. Bugs splattered on the optical sensor or weird low light refraction can also freak it out. May just be circumstantial and everything is OK. Usually when one of these systems takes a dump it just stays off.

It must be a sensor somewhere. We get the brake assist message too after a long drive. Then go through rain or a car wash and it seems to go away.

I’ve washed the car and cleaned the windshield and no change from getting the annoying alert. It happens during the day or night and has been increasing to about once or twice a day.

Small 2 lane back roads with some turns and oncoming traffic triggers it for me so possibly it’s your route?

No I’m in South Florida. No consistency to when it happens unfortunately and only started about 6 weeks ago. I have about 6500 miles now.
wish an adapter could be plugged in when I drive to capture any errors…..

I’m going to get to the bottom
of it…. It wasn’t a problem for the first 5k miles…
of course it happened again today and stayed on for about a minute and then disappeared…..
