Cooled cup holders

I just ordered a 2022 GLS but the cooling cup holders weren’t available. I think I would use rhat feature everyday with my can of soda. They said I could place another order at the end of the month to see if it’s available then. If it isn’t available, I’m wondering if I should wait. Seems like a strange part to not be available.

I do use my heated/cooled cup holders a lot, but I'm not sure it makes a significant difference. It isn't going to really cool an already warm drink or anything like that, just might make a cool drink warm up a little slower. If you aren't in need of the vehicle quickly, you can wait it out, but I don't think it is a feature that you'll regret not having, it isn't a useful as I wished.

This is not a feature that should make or break any deal. Its mostly a gimmick. Only makes a difference on long trips.

Thank you for your feedback. On paper it sounds like a dream. I was wondering how useful it really was and if it was worth waiting for. Luckily the dealer already ordered my car and said I could order another one with three cup holders if they are available late January, but if not k will just take the original car. This is what I ordered in diamond white metallic. No running boards. I think they will just get in the way putting kids in car seats and they don’t seem very useful.

GLS 450
I didn't order running boards either and fretted about it a bit before the car arrived. I do not miss having them at all. I think the GLS looks great with or without them.

I agree… the running boards are really for aesthetic purposes only in my mind. I have them, and like the look, but never use functionally unless I put my mind to it. They are mildly useful if you have a cargo box on the roof, but just as easy to stand on the door frame.

The running boards are more useful to me than the heat / cold cup holders.

Great for washing and drying the roof.

Buy yourself a YETI coolie for your soda. Works better than cooled cupholder and only $30
