Hello,

My 2022 GLS 450 is on its way - 2 more weeks. This is my first Mercedes vehicle and I'm very excited! While I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery, I have a couple of questions on prepaid maintenance and extended warranty (I did search these topics here before coming up with these questions).

1. Whats the difference between the "Star" and "Premier" pre-paid maintenance plans?
2. I got a quote from Jeff (MB Louisville) 4 service plan for $2,850. Is this the best price that folks have received? Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.
3. Extended Warranty - is 7yrs/100K miles the maximum you can get from MB? We don't drive that much, so won't touch 100K miles in 7 years (more like 9 to 10 years).
4. The quote I got from Jeff was $4,250 (7yrs/100K) - is this the best price I can get?

what is all included in Extended Warranty?

Its supposed to be an extension of the original factory warranty. For example, if you take a 7yr/100K warranty, it extends the vehicle's original warranty for an additional 3 years and/or 50K miles (which ever comes first).

Did you get the 7/100 for 4,250? - thats a deal, as that looks like the 7/100 price...

Not yet, but will be doing so in the next couple of days.

Closed the deal with Jeff yesterday. $4,250 for 7YR/100K miles. Will do the pre paid maintenance with him next month (didn't want all charges to hit my CC the same month ).
