GLS with regular AMG package or night package or no AMG?
Hello everyone,
I am planning on buying GLS in obsidian black but unsure if I should go for AMG package and if I go for AMG should I opt for night package, any thoughts, pros cons etc. thank you.

Either will look nice. If you want a stealth look, the Night Package will do that, however the regular chrome bits will contrast nicely to the paint color if opting for just the regular AMG-Line. Do be warned, even with the Night Package, there are still a fair number of chromes trim pieces about the exterior.

AMG appearance is a must IMO for the painted wheel arch trim. I also like the night package on the darker cars as I'm not a fan of the chrome outlines around everything.

I think the AMG package dramatically improves the look of the vehicle. It looks kind of wagon/minivanish without the AMG package but the AMG package really makes it look great.
Personally, unless he's paying for the car his opinion wouldn't matter much to me lol

Gee wiz, I just realized I don’t have a hitch? Never occurred to me to order one when I ordered the 21 GLE53 and the 24 GLE53. Then I realized I missed on that option because I did not need a hitch. Why waste the money on a useless ugly appendage that I will never ever use?
On the other hand if you think you need one by all means order your GLE with a hitch. If you are doing this for resale value, that is a myth about lower resale value.

2024 GLS 450
Take a look at a 2024 or 2025 GLS with the AMG Night Package. The grill has a bronze finish that might come as a surprise on some colors. The AMG does make a big difference in the appearance over the standard model. The black fender flares bothered my on my 2020 GLS 450, so when I ordered a 2024 I happily ordered the AMG package. With my Twilight Blue, I thought the grill would look bad. It would have been dynamite on the Emerald Green I was considering.
