Check the ‘24 Order Guide. The Standard exterior is missing the badging while the AMG is not. All pics have been consistent in this regard.

is the insurance of the other party enough to cover the loss or you have to involve your insurance as well?

There are similar pics in the '23 DOG as well so I'm starting to agree that Motortrend probably did mess up and it would be silly to remove badging on a Mercedes as "standard".

Yes, thankfully. All seems going smoothly

Nope, nothing alarming and very good. The first owner is a 3 year lease and there is the history of general maintenance done like service A, then service B, then service A.

thanks for posting! I figured it would be a write off.

this brings up a point that I think everyone should give a little thought to now - GAP Insurance. If you bought a car over the last two years and financed it, as inflation begins to ease and values come back down a bit (even potentially recessionary values), I think there are going to be a few cases where the car won’t be worth the loan. GAP insurance will help in situations like this, where the car was simply written off for a loss by an insurance company. I think it’s likely insurance companies will write them off more now instead of fixing.

That's another one MT got wrong based on pics of cars in the wild! It's almost like an inexperienced writer came up w/the article!
