GLS Center Console Removal

GLS Center Console Removal
looking to remove the center console in 2021 GLS - seems that this price here needs to come off first, but I cannot find a part number or diagram anywhere online showing how it comes apart? Not sure if the top snaps off? If so from front or back? Have searched google high and low for an answer - has anyone removed the center console before and can advise?

I have zero proof, but would think that removing the top leather insert piece would reveal a mounting screw inside the base. Willing to bet that top leather piece snaps in somehow…

This is my thought too, but not sure if it pops off from front or backside. I’ve searched eBay and web for GLS and GLE center console parts as well to see if someone has a part posted - everything is available for sale except this center palm rest or the cover.

Wow, awesome indeed!
hey Ninja, have a small favor to ask if possible? You wouldn't happen to have something like this that would show the hvac plumbing routes by chance? I would love to find the path to the evap coil for a treatment of Kool-It cleaner. Introed through the back of in-cabin air filter with no luck, and couldn’t tell where the port is for the center stack vents either to get that little tube down the plumbing to the coil for a foam disinfectant bath.

Thank you! That definitely helps a TON as it shows exactly where to insert the probe/tube!
but curious if you had one of these reports for removing the air vents in the center stack above the bottons and below the infotainment screen too? I’m trying to figure out where the air duct is that feeds air to those center vents, if possible?
ps- sorry wheelz, i kind of hijacked you thread here!

evap coil cleaning pdf is great, but does not show where exterior condensation drain tube is. Maybe the location of the condensation drain tube will get posted soon! Thanks for the PDFs BenzNinja!

First many thanks to BenzNinja for all the help posted here!!!
My 2020 GLS only has wired Android Auto (wonder if there is any hope of a SW update to make wireless? not with a dongle)
So since constant plugging in/out on the one connector that has AA capability it is wearing out...is there a procedure for removal of the forward part of console where the plug assembly resides? I see it is pn 167-820-95-00 and will take some disassembly.
thank you in advance,
