HI All,
I just purchased a 23 GLS600 over the weekend and I have a couple questions for the owners here.
1. Does the middle vent in the rear blow little to no air even with the fan speed turn all the way up?
2. Both of the rear bottom cushions feels some kind of pop if you sit and move around in them. Anyone else have this same experience?
Thanks,
Frank

I'm about to buy one myself, so I am interested in what you find when the dealer takes a look at it.

The slow air from the middle vent is the same for me in 2023 GLS 450 so I am assuming that is same across all 2023 GLS. No pop on the rear cushions but that can be a Marbach thing.

it is the same. there is air from it but it feels like it’s always on “low” even when all the other vents are blasting at max. However, I have checked and there is cool/hot air coming out of it when AC/heat is on.Originally Posted by fkim011

I think It might be a design issue in the body/chassis rather than a fixable problem with A/C. However, it only matters for the first few minutes and then the temperature balances out.

On the air vent, check the settings for all 3 sections. I had an issue and it turned out the 3rd row/cargo area was turned as low as it would go. The air from the center vents in the front seat, 2nd row and 3rd are shared. When it is hot the vehicle has adjusts flow to try and accommodate the temperature requests. This will reduce the flow from some vents on a variety of factors. Once this was discovered and I played with it, it made sense.

I don't think that is the case for my car. It doesn't have a third row. Originally Posted by LeadfootCJ7

The service dealership called and said it had an incorrectly mounted lower sear cushion causing it to move. They took it apart and put it on correctly.
The amount of air flow in the center air vent was considered to be normal. This is dissappointing.
What is funny is, the dealership had 2 exact spec Maybachs, and the other Maybach had both seat cushions loose so that is why we switched over to this one. I think it's a factory issue with the rear seats not being put together correctly.
