Has Anyone Removed the Refrigerator from The Maybach GLS600?
As the title states, the fridge takes up way too much cargo room.
Has anyone taken the fridge out? If so, is it a pretty simple job?
Any help would be appreciated.

I asked my dealer about that a couple weeks ago. Initially, they said you can't. But then their lead tech looked at it and said you just have to remove a couple bolts and unplug it and it comes right out. I haven't tried it.

I've called multiple dealers, looked at multiple parts site > I can't seem to acquire the cooler from anyone. 22 Maybach GLS did not come optioned with the cooler, didn't think I'd use it much/ever, but of course now I want it.
Any ideas on local dealers who may have one in stock?

To give up an update on this, it takes about 5 minutes to take out. Take the bolts of the back cover and you will see 2 bolts screwed into the back of the seat. Unscrew those, unclip all power at the bottom and it just slides out.

Thanks! I do have the 2 seater config in the back and the champagne flute holders. It's all prepped for the cooler install, just need the fridge and like you said trim piece. I'll keep calling a few dealers.

I don't know if the Maybach is like the AMG but if it is you will need whoever it is looking it up to use a Maybach VIN to see it in the system.
