Am still impressed by Tesla, which automatically sees our phones, and can even recognize which phone is likely to be the driver depending on where the phone is (perhaps the one closer to the driver's door), and sets the profile and all other settings to that person even when we are both entering the car at the same time.
I think I may eventually cave and do the one profile thing like you. Makes me mad that we're paying for "personalization" that's broken in our Mercedes Me subscription!

Wow and wow. I have been farting around for 3 days with the easy entry on our new to us 2023 GLE350. It works perfectly in our 2024 GLC300 and I don't even remember how I activated it. I'll torture the dealer.....

Just choose the one that works for you.

I don't know if anything is broken, but there are certainly a lot of ways to control the car. Voice, touchpad, touchscreen, steering wheel buttons etc.

Just use whichever one you're comfortable with in each case. I'm still learning.

Dealer got the easy entry working on my wife's profile. He could not get my profile added to her GLE, though hers is on my GC. He even called Mercedes Me from the car and got a real person. Their suggestion was to delete the app and download again. Nope...... Still have the GLE puddle lights to deal with. Fun....

I have '24 GLE450 and '24 GLE53, they both have same issue like you and when I take in for service, they told me that they can't find anything wrong...

And for my GLE450, RT rear windows goes down automatically but it won't go up automatically.

GLE53, LEFT rear window is having same issue.

took them in, they reset it, after 3-4days, it happens again

2020 SL / 2026 GLS
Has Mercedes still not figured this out? Any solutions that don't require pressing memory seat buttons every time?

Our previous 2024 GLS would constantly "forget" that we had activated "Easy Entry/Exit"... had it at the dealership a few times and even deleted ALL the profiles (don't care for all the "smart" features and just want a dumb car that works!). That car is now gone due to other problems...

But now our current 2026 GLS also does not want to remember the "Easy Entry/Exit" setting and keeps turning the feature off!

Two model years later, is this issue still unresolved?

Has Mercedes still not figured out how to make a windshield wiper that doesn't sound like it's made out of dried-out plastic against the glass?

"but they're designed that way to clear the windshield at 150mph on the Autobahn".... Good to know in Virginia, where 81mph gets you a Reckless Driving ticket when the speed limit is 79mph.

The answer you seek, unfortunately....is NO. They have not figured out the easy entry setting. Quite honestly, the whole suspension system is just goofy. Ours, will adjust itself when it's just sitting in the garage for no apparent reason. Has done that since day one. Car not used for days, I go to get something out of the passenger seat, and it starts moving itself up/down etc. For no reason whatsoever. I'm just thankful it hasn't broken yet.

Mine does the same thing. It's just relevelling the suspension especially as air either slowly leaks from the air suspension components or air cools/expands. The computer controlling the system doesn't power back on until you open the door and the system can't move unless the doors are closed, so after you get something out and close the door, the suspension can now adjust.

What I hate is that the level sensors aren't very accurate whatsoever. EVERY GLS I see on the road looks as of it's leaning to one side. I'm tempted to get lowing links just to balance the suspension. Maybe a coder can adjust the values for me- something to look at.

I have owned my '24 since August. Sometime in October the comfort seat access started randomly moving to the wrong non saved preset. I would have to press 1 and it would go back. Then I got a message about the engine might run rough and needed a software update, and needed to a go to a dealer for that. It never really ran rough and I finally brought it in. I kinda know the tech in my local dealer through a friend and they kept it overnight and did a big software update, Happy to report a month later I have no issues with it. But who knows how long that will last. He told me there are so many updates all the time there don't all get pushed through. Probably due to the sheer volume of them. Anyway maybe bring it in. And I did check if there were any recalls on a website and said none were available. But he showed me at least three were for my car.
Good luck
