Hello All,
Recently got a CPO 2020 GLS 450. I'm really very happy with the car. When I got it the dealer told me that this vehicle does not have a cargo area cover, however I can see two places where I believe it would fit.
Does anyone have the cargo cover and if so,
1. Does it cover the area starting behind the second row?
2. What is the part number?

Just call your dealer parts dept and confirm this is the right part for your vin

If you bought it CPO, your dealer should order you a new one. My prior CPO was also missing the cover but the dealer had a new one shipped to the house.

Can't believe your dealer would be that cheap!

Insist that since new cars come w/the cover you should get one too!
In some areas, hiding what's in your trunk could be the difference b/w broken glass on the floor and just another day in the parking lot!

​​​​​​This might be unhelpful, but in our 2024, the cargo cover has a home under the trunk floor, where the spare wheel goes. Not sure whether yours might be hiding in there?

Recently bought a 2015 X166 and it came without a cover and it's driving me nuts. Why would someone not out the cover back in when passing the car along...

That is the first place I checked with our salesman, when I was looking he asked what for? To which I said, "cargo cover", he looked confused and proceeded to tell me, "These cars don't have them"

I need to check with the dealer.

Looking at the CPO list, surprisingly I don't see anything about the cargo cover:

That’s too bad. Guess my dealer was nicer than average!

It was on a CPO MY16 GL450 so maybe rules changed?

Yes, about $150.
I asked and was told; " Your car did not come from the factory with one, sorry"

We travel quite often and it's nice to have the cover back there.

Question, if your GLS is like this, see attached photo. What is the circled item on the rear of the front seats?

Those are for OEM accessory mounts like suit hangers, etc!

I've never seen a car come without one but you could check your build sheet for "723 EASY-PACK load compartment cover" and catch them in a lie. They should have provided you with a build sheet.

My 2020 build sheet has code "723 Cargo Cover"

Also when I bought my 2020 GLS CPO I googled and downloaded the 2020 DOG as well as the sales brochure. DOG mentions as standard "Load Compartment Cover," while brochure has as standard equipment "Retractable/removable luggage cover w/stowage area under cargo floor".
