It's always about the tires, isn't it? There are dozens of threads in the GLS forums about the lack of suitable tires in the large sizes. Sooner or later, one would hope, Mercedes and the tire manufacturers will start producing summer, winter, and all season tires in 22 inch and 23 inch sizes.
Yes, https://www.mbusatirecenter.com/ lists only "Summer Tires" for even East coast location Dealers/Customers. I checked for GLS 600, 450, 580 and for 23" tires, and shows only "Summer Tires". So not just Maybach models but most other models that supports 23" wheels.. there is NO All season and Winter Tires. Hope MB realizes it sooner, and start All Season/Winter options for New Cars and also starts selling it.
My 2025 GLS 600 Production date had slipped from 09/09 to 10/02. However, dealer says no update seen 10/02 and beyond. Factory Status is "INPRODUCTION" as it was before 10/02.
Anyone else on same boat ? Any experiences to share on what happens on production date and how long it may take to get this built ?
Update : Dealer updated that Vehicle was built on 10/10 and Factory Status shows "FINALINSPTN", Primary Status shows "LL07 - Purchase Order Created".
It appears build was done and now it is under "Final Inspection" as of 10/10.
In my opinion, Once production is complete, it has gone past "Uncertainty", where production may get delayed due to part delay/unavailability. Now hoping and assuming that is passes the "Final Inspection" it's only matter of getting it shipped to Dealer. Although delay may happen in transit but it is less likely to be unreasonable delays at this stage. I am hoping to get it in early November. Keeping finger crossed. Already feeling excited.
Please share your experiences, status, pics if delivered... :-)
Excited to share that my 2025 GLS 600 arrived at Dealership yesterday. It was dispatched from Factory on 23rd Oct and it arrived 25th Oct at Dealership. Salesperson sent me Photos.
I have been told that it still needs to undergo PDI (Pre delivery Inspection) process and may take few more days before it will be ready for delivery. Will share more details as I learn more.. :-)
The GV60 is phenomenal. What a pleasure it is to drive. So responsive, with instant torque, and with thoughtful design. The B&O stereo doesn't hold a candle to the NAIM in the Bentley, but the latter is a $9,200 option. 🤯
All of my cars would be EVs if they were available.I didn't buy the Maybach GLS680 because of the bubble design.

It just seemed like an outlier in your lineup. Good to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
Looking good! I just sold my 2023 GLS 600 and took a $60,000 depreciation hit after a mere 4000 miles. It was a wonderful car but no longer needed.
Did you trade it in or did you sell it privately on the open market? Been thinking of buying a late model GLS 600 lately and am about to start some research to see what the market is like for one.

I sold it myself on Autotrader for $142,000. A bunch of dealers had offered me $135,000, so I saved a bit but not a lot doing it myself. I received about eight offers below the selling price over a period of almost 3 months.
