Headlight module question

Does anyone know which module controls the DRLs?
I removed my headlight assembly and found there's a module on the side and on the bottom and my problem is my DRL doesn't work however the turn signal still blinks Amber which uses the same LED strip.

Of course as ninja gave you wrong answer for a reason. "PXL" came from Pixel that controls the main/high beam. HLI is the one that control the DRL

Why would he do that? What the hell did I do to him?
If it wernt for such a lack of information on the internet I would have fixed it by now. Plus I dont know if I have a bad LED strip in the headlight.

Is mandatory for him to find new clients to pay coders for his members

You already received a very good idea, change the HLI with the one from the other side

Funny thing about that, since I thought I was replacing the "led matrix module", I coded that. (which was not replaced). But my headlight is working fine even though I put in a new module. LOL .
On a side note after many years on the BMW forums never ran across someone purposely spouting false information. Says something.

Could be "material error '.....
PXL is the LED Matrix Module. But the Matrix represents the multi LED for main/high beam

Thanks!
I have a new "continental" module coming in about a week. If its not that I guess its an issue in the headlight DRL strip itself.

You should ask @EleBest too. He might know, and then you can get some coding done with him as well.

Ahh are you trying to sell coding services as well? Seems to be the goto for the ambitious around here.
I have a scanner and can code myself.

@wildta was just offering a suggestion. @EleBest is an actual sponsor of the forum. I've never seen a complaint.
If your problem exceeds your scanner's ability, you might consider a forum member's recommendation of a forum sponsor.

You didn't read him; he doesn't need your Indonesian company; he wants to do it himself....

No problem, MB needs to have some transparency and provide people who want to fix their own cars some basic info. I'll just sell my old module cheap on eBay.

You didn't read my post. I don't have an Indonesian company.

To restate, without mentioning any forum sponsors (Horrors!!!): Instead of disparaging a forum member's post, just accept it for what it was. A suggestion to help answer the posted question. Or don't ask for help and advice. Simple.

I don't know a single thing about coding so definitely don't hire me! I'll brick your car.

If you're able to code your own vehicle and have the tools to do so, by all means. It just sounded like you were stuck and Elebest has been doing OEM installs for a while so he might be able to advise you just based on his experience. Just trying to help.

EDIT:
I now realize your animosity towards my suggestion of a coder stems from this:

No wonder. There's a reason why that coder was banned from commenting on here.

I haven't requested any help with coding in this thread. I needed to know which module controls the DRL. Which I know now.

Please try to not get angry when someone offers a tip or solution.
It's a forum. People don't know how sensitive you are over miniscule things. Maybe say "Thanks" instead.🙂

I agree with my forum colleagues above. Am also glad the OP got his question answered.
Usually I do the same, I try to help and answer questions myself and assist forum colleagues when i can, and if I don't know the answer, as a courtesy I would recommend an expert or forum sponsor. In this case, as others mentioned, @EleBest is an awesome resource, expert and formal active forum sponsor. He would have probably answered the OP's question without needing to hire him anyway, as he did in several other threads. trigial is also a great expert.

Anyway great to hear that OP got his question answered.
