✭✭✭✭✭SPRINTBOOSTER GROUP BUY✭✭✭✭✭

Ladies and Gents,

ONE Autosport is proud to present MBworld.org with its first group buy for the Sprintbooster!

If you're in this thread, chances are you already know what the Sprintbooster does. If not, please allow me to explain:

The gas pedal of Mercedes vehicles that are equipped with ESP and other safety features, is required to be driven by wire. What that means is that unlike old school gas pedals, when you depress it, it does not directly actuate a metal cable that opens the throttle. Instead, it sends a computer signal that directs the opening of the throttle. And, as with electronic components, things aren't always instantaneous.

Enter Sprintbooster.

What the Sprintbooster does is eliminate the pedal lag. That translates in IMMEDIATE RESPONSE of the car. You press the pedal and off you go. If you think you are getting that type of response now, wait until you have the Sprintbooster on! There will no longer be any hesitation when accelerating. Some people have gone as far as to say that it felt the car had increased horsepower and was quicker. In a sense, that is true as you will reach speeds quicker than before.

Here are an article that just came out discussing the Sprintbooster installed in a Jeep. The car is different, but the same concept remains.
PAGE 1, PAGE 2, PAGE 3 (PDF files)

>>>Click here for more data showing the increase in response time!<<<

As to how the Sprintbooster install, it's very easy (instructions are included). The unit plugs in line with your gas pedal harness. At the rear of the pedal, unplug the harness, plug the Sprintbooster in between, and it's done! Simple as that!

The Sprintbooster is available for the following:
- Mercedes 00-09 All AMG models(excluding W204 New C-class)
- Mercedes 00-09 All Models with Automatic transmission (excluding W204 New C-class)
- Mercedes 00-09 All Models with Manual transmission (excluding W204 New C-class)
- Mercedes 2008+ W204 New C-class C63 AMG and New 2010 W212 E-Class E550/E63 AMG
- Mercedes 2008+ W204 New C-class and New 2010 W212 E-Class Automatic transmission
- Mercedes 2008+ W204 New C-class and New 2010 W212 E-Class Manual transmission

ONE Autosport deals DIRECT with Sprintbooster, so we're able to bring you this very good deal!!

This group buy needs at least 30 orders to close. The price of the Sprintbooster unit is $299. Because we want to make this an ever better deal, the price INCLUDES shipping within the continental United States. If you live outside of that area, please contact me to see what we can do. California residents please add 8.75% taxes. The units will ship out once all orders have been paid for

We accept PayPal and all major credit cards.

Please add your name below if you are interested and ready to proceed (PLEASE PUT YOUR MODEL AND YEAR AS WELL)

Is the sprint booster for better throttle response? Do we need this if we're ECU tuned?

The Sprintbooster is for better throttle response. You press the gas pedal and you get immediate response. Unless your ECU has been tuned to do anything do the throttle, you will still need the Sprintbooster.

Is this something that is removed with a tune? in other words if you have a tune do you not need the sprint booster? I have an '03 SL55 amg so figure this would work on my car, right?

It'll work on your car. This is not done via a tune, but rather via hardware, whereas the signal input is changed in such way that you get instant response. This is especially great on Mercedes as the gas pedal and notoriously slow to react to input. Drive most any other cars, and if you have driven a Mercedes long enough, you'll end up punching the gas pedal harder than necessary and the car will take off hard!

Yes I will setup a PayPal link for all to pay. If you prefer paying via credit card, I can do that as well. I still haven't decided if I'll collect payments as we go, or all at once at the end yet.

SprintBooster was my first tune to my C63. Yes it does not gain any power or anything but really you can feel the difference. I love the product. Normal car have like lag when you step on it but with this you would not have that so its great.

My car already had Powerchip tune. If I add the sprintbooster, will that affect the current ECU Remap ?

Even though with the powerchip tune, I still experience little throttle response latency. But that definitely has improved a lot compare to stock.

So I just want to make sure this sprintbooster will work and won't cause any problem to the tune.
