My first ticket was three days after I turned 16. 93 in a 55

Worst one was 147 in a 55 crossing the Alabama Florida line when I was 18. It never showed up on my record thankfully.

Last one was when I lived up in Madison Alabama and had a supercharged C5 vette. Huntsville PD are some sneaky *******s. I got pulled over with another vette on 565. The cop running radar was in a Huntsville Utilities bucket truck which was extended up on the Madison Pike exit like they were working on a pole. I got tagged for 156 in a 55 and the buddy behind me got it for 141 in a 55. Sadly we both had to go to court for that and there were tons of others there who like us got caught by some sneaky underhanded cop. We both got traffic school so no record and insurance hike worries, but they have a serious cash generation project going on up there.

Most scared I have been being pulled over was when I was in school at Jacksonville State. We had a friend who had military dependant card and we use to head out on base and go to the "Class 6" store for cheap booze. We were all piled up in a 1990 Toyota doing 30 in a 25. Mp's pulled us over guns drawn and K9 out and barking. Those guys do not play and don't take jokes very lightly either.

I once was caught by the police doing 68mph in a 50mph zone in some roadworks on the M6 motorway in a company van.

The bad thing was that at the time I was in charge of these roadworks as the main safety officer.

I was so embarrassed when the letter came through to my boss.....

Regards

Andy

Age 17. Well this was a couple of months ago while driving my dad's CLK 550. I was driving with my friends when we spotted an Accord V6 MT with modded duel exhaust and the works, so I decided to have some fun. I was tailgating his car doing 80 on a 45 strip until we hit a red light. There when we started revving at each other. Once the light turned green, both of us just lunched where we hit 100+ in a 40 area. After a mile or so, I see a cop's light and the work. Once he pulled both of us over, it turned out that the Accord driver was a DEA. Therefore, he talked to the cop who pulled us over and let us go. I was pissing me my pants when that happened. I would had been screwed if I was pulled over because I got a ticket earlier for 42 in a 30 area. After that we just laughed so hard for being so stupid..

Looking for a new toy.
A few years back (younger and dumber *L*) I got nailed for 215km/hr on a 100km/hr highway. Early morning, no traffic and on my way to the local dragstrip - figured it was a good time for an "Italian tuneup". Like I said, deserted highway and the one car I meet ends up being a cop! Got pulled over, the whole speech thing etc etc and ended up with a 90 buck fine and the cops final dig before leaving...he reached into the back seat and pulled out my helmet I had there for track use and said "put this on, I think you're going to need it".

My best ticket was the time I was arrested...

Was headed to get dinner at 99 Resturant after work around 4:45pm. It was May, first nice spring day in western massachusetts, very hot out, and hit a light right before a staright away. I was driving a 2004 Subaru WRX, stage-4, with meth injection... Stepped into it when the light turned green.

It was a 45mph zone, and I had just hit around 60-70mph (guessing, wasnt watching speedo) mid-way up a steep incline in the road. Coming over the top of the incline was a state trooper going the opposite way. My radar never went off, and thought I got lucky as I cleared the top of the hill. The restaurant was about 300ft away through a couple of lights... Yielded at the first, stopped at the second, then pulled in to park.

Put the windows up, turned off the car, and was heading in when the state tropper pulled in with the lights on. He hit the loudspeaker, and told me to get back in the car. Walked to the car, got inside... He came up to the door and told me to put the window down. The car was off because I jad just got back inside it, so I told him exactly that, not wanting to put the keys back in and thinking I was doing something different. He then told me to open the door, and to get out of the car. I did. He yelled "Why are you running from me?!" I paused, and said I wasn't. He gave me a WTF look, and then turned me around, and told me to put my hands behind my back. Said I was under arrest for failure to stop for a police officer. He then asked how fast I was going, and told him I wasn't sure. He just told me I shouldnt have run after that. They had the car towed, even though it was in a parking spot, and then I got a ride back to the state police barraks in the back. Luckily a friend of a friend saw this happen, and he provided the $40 bail to get me out of jail to go home. I only had $20 at the time, and they didnt take cards.

I had to go to court twice for the ordeal. I was found guilty. The state trooper, GTO owner, filled his report right up and stuck to it in court.. the judge obviously went with their own. He even noted things in his report such as the color of my shirt as he drove by, and added in statements such as numerous drivers pointing to where I was. I didn't have funds to pay for a lawyer, so I represented myself.. Obviously a mistake, but what can you do when you dont have the cash.

6 Points on my license, failure to stop, and speeding... and the lasting effect for if and when I get pulled over again, when they see failure to stop, I'll instantly get a ticket. I lost all respect for the legal system. Since then sold the WRX, and picked up the c32. Lovin' MB!

Back when in 04 when I had the Z06, me and three buddies decided it would be nice to run up from Phoenix to Prescott on Route 89 (one of the best driving roads in the US). 89 starts out just straight and flat and we are cruising about 10-15 over the limit. After a while, you hit the mountains as you head up to a small town called Yarnell. The road is two lanes each way and is divided by the mountain, so you have two freshly paved lanes to have fun with.

I believe the speed limit is either 35 or 40 going up the hill. I am going between 3rd and 4th and doing easily in the triple digits through the straights. Windows down, music blasting, **** eating grin from ear to ear. We crest the hill after driving like this all the way up and come up the small town where we observe the local speed limit and then out of nowhere, after we get through the town, a state cop pulls the four of us over (he passed all of us and motioned to each of us as he passed).

I was the pace car, but he started from the rear forward. I over heard his conversations to know that he had been trying to catch up with us from when we first started up the hill as he spotted us (from the other side). I knew we were toast but did not know how much he was going to peg us at.

He came over to me and after seeing three dejected looks from my friends, I knew we were not going to jail but were getting tickets. So, a bit relieved, I decide to have some fun. He asked do you know what I pulled you guys over for? I took a brief look at the four sports cars lined up and said, "Busted tailight?" with a big **** eating grin. He laughed and I said I know we were speeding officer, we were out having some fun and we got a bit out of hand. He thanked me for my honesty and still gave me a ticket but for, IIRC, 62 in a 45.

Several years ago, I was driving back to Illinois from Wisconsin. The interstate was horribly backed up and I decided to take a couple of alternate highways to get home. I was out of in the middle of nowhere and really had to **** like never before. As I pulled into some small town, I was looking for a gas station. I wasn't paying attention to my speed and and an officer pulled behind me with his lights on. When we stopped, I got out of the car with my arms raised and explained to the officer that I had to urgently use the restroom. He agreed to follow me 2-3 blocks to the gas station to write me the ticket.

I handed him my license and insurance card and went into a restroom on the side of the building. A few moments later, someone tries the handle and knocks on the door and I tell them its occupied. My license and insurance card are slipped under the door and the officer tells me he has to leave for a domestic disturbance call. No ticket.

I've also been written 2 tickets on separate occasions for 6mph over and 9mph over, both while traveling 110-120 (once in a 65mph zone and once in a 45mph zone).

tickets

Well I have far too many of these so this is a good thread for me. Ill list off the ones I remember.

72 in a 45 '96 SL500 "You dont deserve to drive this car" - pig
74 in a 45 '02 S500 "Are you nuts?" - pig ,, freeway changed from 65 to a 45 quick.
72 in a 35 '99 SLK230 - street racing, failure to signal, wreckless op - smoked some riced up honda.
106 in a 65 '99 SLK230 - slowing down going around a highway bend through traffic on the way from boca raton to st. pete. Glad he only caught me slowing down. Waited for over an hour, I think he was waiting on a dog. (i had a little bit of stuff that smelled like a skunk and it was baking on the 110 degree asphalt (next to my spare tire))
163 in a 45 '01 SL600 - slowing down in my v12, i fly past a cop - eh no problem good luck to him. Come up to a construction zone 2 lanes down from 5 (was a freeway) Cement barriers both sides. Two vigilante *****s in economy cars are sitting side by side dead on at 45. I'm inches away from both cars back and forth trying to push one over. They keep the same up for another few minutes until piggy finally catches up. - evading police, intent to kill, wreckless op, etc etc bs etc. lose my license and many fees - end up recieving no points through court (Thanks uncle sheriff)
85 in a 45 - 04' G55K - pig is very upset and rude gives me a few extra bs tickets, clearly jealous of the car )

i know i have at least 6+ more can't think of them though.

State Trooper

It happened back in 1999. I was on the way home from work like everyday, traveling on I-294 in Chicago. Speed limit 55 mph, traffic heavy (lots of cars but flowing at around 80). I'm going around 80-85, when after 2-3 minutes of following me brown crown vic flashes lights at me. I pulled to left schoulder, ordinary story, cop asks for license, insurance reg. etc. Here comes the question: how fast were you going? answer : around 80.
do you know why I pulled you over? a: I was the closest car in front of you.
He starts laughing. Walks over to his cruiser, cames back after 5 or so minutes. Gives me back my docs and asks : did you wear a seat belt?
a: yes. q: let me ask you again did you wear seatbelt? a: no. his reply: here is warning for not using seatbelts , have a nice day.

It was the last time I did get a break when pulled over in Chicago.
From that day I'm getting raped w/ tickets.

The worst was in little ***** town called Stone Park - suburb of chicago.
2 cops 1 stop and 11 tickets- speeding, seatbelt, recless driving, bold tire, no plate in front, marker light out, failer to use turn signal, following to close, the best one: horn unoperational, tinted front windows, no drivers license ( didn't have it on me) - outcome 2 nights in jail (it happend on friday late afternoon so I had to wait until Monday to post bail), went to court, walked out w/ supervision for 6 months and fine of $75.

My first and only one happened a few months back. 105 in a 65. $293 ticket and I believe I have points on my record.

Luckily, he didn't write me for driving 120 in the carpool/HOV lane alone with illegal tint and no front license plate. I still don't have a front plate and my tint is still on.

NYC court is the hardest. from what ive herd. If i were you I would try to go speak to the cop and see what he can do. If hes a **** about it. Get a lawyer. I just got one for a ticket. And I still havent gotten a court date. I got the ticket in june to. I hired this guy Matisyahu Wolfberg. Go to his web page. Notspeeding.com how Ironic. anyways so far so good no ticket yet good luck with that. Also i think 31+ over is either 8 points on your license following to closely is another 4 Chaning lanes unsafely is 3 more and the signal is 2. If im correct. thats a moving violation. Thats 17 points. The revoke your license at 11. ( I have 13 lol but I sat down with a Judge at the DMV so my *** is on the fence right now) dont forget If you incur six points on your driver record during a period of 18 months, the annual assessment is $100. The minimum amount that you must pay each year is the annual assessment. The total assessment for the three years is $300. If you incur more than six points on your driver record during a period of 18 months, the annual assessment is $25 for each point more than the original six points. so 300 for the first 6 minus 17= 11 *25 for each point is 275 + 300 is 575 in extra fees not to mention the orginal fines. Damn man.. If I were you I would take the Driving courses you can now. And make sure you explain to the cop its your first speeding ticket. What did he use Laser or Radar? One last thing Im not advertising for this lawyer but he has some good credibility from what Ive read. And hes a retired cop. Good luck PM me and let me know what he used to get you

This is not a speeding ticket but a ticket just the same. I was making a trip to my lakehouse yesterday just to check my boatdock position, as the lake has been dropping and I had to move the dock out.

Anyway, about 40 miles into the trip I got stuck behind two cars following a truck carring tree limbs(large truck but not a semi). This guy was driving 30 to 35 in a 55mph zone and I had been stuck behind him about 5 minutes. I had about 300 miles to drive both ways and was getting impatient. I passed though a small town and just outside the town I saw a nice opening in traffic(two lane hwy and two yellow lines) and nailed it and I passed all three vehicles very quickly. The yellow lines ended just after I crossed them and I could see the entire road ahead before I made the move. Just as I was pulling back into my lane I saw the blue lights behind me.

I had been following close and looking for an opening and the small town cop had just pulled behind me and I didn't see him before I made the move.

I admit that I was guilty of passing over the yellow lines but he also wrote for "careless prohib. driving". He told me that this was for being reckless in passing three vehicles at the same time.
Nothing I could do about that. I called their courthouse this morning and it is $100 for each violation. I'm not so worried about the $200 but am wondering if this is two moving violations on one ticket?

Have a few, but the best one was quite a few years back, on my '00 Hayabusa (heavily modded) against a Porshe GT3 and a Yamaha R1 in Austin, Tx about 12:45am. Got on Loop 1 with both when the GT3 punched it out of 1st, and the R1 jumped on him and I was about 15-16 car lengths back. I jumped on it and by the top of 2nd was even with the GT3, and gaining on the R1 doing about 105. I caught the R1 towards the top of 3rd and blew by him getting into the left hand lane as the highway has a gentle left turn in it. I was pinned, boost was maxed in 4th as I came around the turn, and from behind a runoff barrier is a cop (barrier is about 5ft tall-or was, cause it's been removed now) and he was waiting with his lights already flashing as I went by.

I decided that well, "he's gonna have to come get me..." and kept it pinned now into 5th around 165 and went over a hill so I know he couldn't see me. When he came over the hill he was a dot in my mirrors as I was in 6th easily over 180 and coming to slaughter ln. I took the left, and went down about 1.5 miles hitting at least 165 twice on the way to my buddies house. I enter his street and his garage door is up and he's waiting for me as I pull in and kill the bike and he pulls the door down. He says he heard me about 2 miles away coming hard, so he knew what was going on, and was ready. We heard sirens for the next 15 minutes and watched cop cars patrol the neighborhood for the next few hours. The PI data recording system on the bike says I hit a top speed of 192.

Damn, I miss that bike.....

Got a ticket going 60 in a 40 coming home from college one weekday. I was driving my '76 Ponitac Ventura with a 403 Old's motor in it. At the time I thought it was the fastest car on earth. It ran a 14.6 @ 98 MPH which is pretty impressive for a '76 car. Anyways, back to the story. Two weeks later I get pulled over on the SAME road by the SAME cop doing 60 in a 40. Dick gets up to the window and says "nice car, looks familiar, didn't I give you a ticket before?" I was kind of hoping for a miracle that the two tickets being the same street, cop and speed would make one of them somehow disapear. I wasn't so lucky.
