W203 VS Lexus Si

W203 VS Lexus IS 300
it was 3 years ago and I was on my way to SF from san diego. I carch up with the lexus and he kinda kicked some dust on my face first...the stock W203 was pretty slow on acc. but past 70mph, it's all good....going neck to neck with the IS and bye bye...left him with the exhaust fume with around 130mph and didn;t even break a sweat...my bud and I was laughing and the dudes in the Si opened his window and gave us the thumbs up...
the only stuff I had was the Mono VI wheels and some damn good Michelins!...boy those tires grip yet wear before even I know it.
I thought I could do more with it but I don't think the speed limit will allow that...what's the speed limit for W203 anyway?
when we reached the Renaissance hotel, the bell boy asked if I'm with the Gumball Rally...I said "no" but delighted because he thought the ride qualified as one

Are you sure it was a Lexus Si or a Honda Civic Si?
if you are talking about San Francisco, C classes and 3 series are basically Honda Civics here. There is a flood of them.

Tuscanrider, you're right, thanks for clearing that one up.
actually just saw one today and it's IS 300.
Vic55, I have a C240, not even the kompressor so....from one traffic light to another isn't applicable. not much "kills" experienced.
Vomit, it's cool man. Altezza is the Yota version that is sold around Asia and Southeast Asia.

Actually I am quite impressed with the new 06 C280 loaner car I got with six speed auto shift (7G). I was flooring the crap out of it up shifting and redlining each gear and the car responded beautifully. Some dude asked if it is the AMG version after I smoked him off of the line.

yeah, i had a c280 loaner (its a 7 speed)
i really enjoyed driving it. the narrow tires and nice mid range make it a fun car to throw around, much better than the 230 w/ fat ***, pointless tires. its quick also
