M5 vs Undercover Corvette vs Police interceptors Pwned!!!

So "Woman" had to attend a bachelorette party and I decided to call my buddies and have a guy's night out. We went bar hopping from Huntington Beach down to Newport. As night went on, I ran into my ex girlfriend and she asked me if I can give her a ride home at the end of the night. So the story begun. I was crusing down the PCH and came to a stop light. To my surprise, a corvette pulled next to me and start revving his engine at me. I told my ex gf to hang on and gunned it as soon as the light turn green. Remember reading a thread last week about pigs going undercover in fast cars aching people to engage in a street race. It's all true. The moment I reached 145MPH the focking corvette start flashing what seemed like a police light and I gunned it. Mind y'all that I was liqoured up that night. Thought I can get away but I got owned by two police interceptors boxed me in a mile down the road. They insist on giving me a sobriety test and I refused so they impounded my car and took me back to the station My ex gf had to call her friend to take her home. I remember my federal agent buddy once told me that refuse to take a sobriety test only gets your license suspended for 6 month without a dui.

The story got better when "Woman's" co-worker saw me leaving with my ex. and informed her immediately. I had to call her to pick me up at the station and when she arrived, the focking pig told her that I had another passenger with me when I got pulled over. After a huge argument, "Woman" decided to stay with her mom for a while. I was already in the dog house and this incident just TKOed my ***. I don't even know where to begin trying to reconciliate with "Woman". I am pretty much a mess as we speak.

Oh, no, really sorry to hear that. At least you didn't hurt yourself or anyone else being that you were drinking. I hope you get a good lawyer to get yourself out of this mess. As for the "woman" you referred to, only time will cure that. Good luck.

damn whoa that really sucks man. you recently posted a thread about how great your wife is and it seems like you just screwed yourself bigtime. hope you can work things out with your wife. As far as the not taking the breathilzer, i had a friend that refused and he ended up getting dui anyways. I guess if you refuse they just assume you are over the limit anyways. GL with that.

At least you and your passenger are unharmed. That's the most important thing. Everything else (your license, your car, your relationship with "woman") can be retrieved/repaired with time, patience, money and a bit of luck.

How can a UC police officer be justified in instigating a race and nailing you for it? Please do get an exellent attorney, for you were provoked BY the police and not vice-a-versa.

That's an excellent comment, I am surprised that the police is doing that! They are essentially putting people in danger by triggering high-speed chases like that.

i was dating this girl, and she had an old cobra, and a "guy" in a C5 vet puled nexto her and started revving it up. it was raining outside so she said " r u retarted, or very stupid" and the guy pulled out a badge :/ so i dont know what would have happend if they went. but i bet it would have ended with a a pair of handcuffs (and not in a bedroom eather) and this was on PCH by newport.

it just shows the dedication to public safety of many police departments vs. their dedication to writing tickets and generating revenue. Of the 6 tickets I have recieved and the 15+ times I have been pulled over, never once was I driving in a manner that was dangerous to those around me. My guess is that for every reckless/deserving driver that the police ticket, they write at least 100 other useless tickets. But I guess that may just be the cops around here......

Back on topic, sorry to hear about your night. Sounds like you are in a world of hurt right now. Good luck w/ the ticket, and (I guess it goes w/o saying....but I'll say it anyways) be more careful in the future. Liquor + Car + street racing is never worth it....even if you are trying to killl your ex

Thank you. Do these "law enforcers" believe that they are above the street racers they set traps for?

See the thing is I had plenty of time to sober up before I called it the night... The officers tried to make me sign paper work and I cheerfully rejected it, exercising my rights. I was very calmed and poised. They ended up nailing me for Reckless driving under suspecion of driving under influence though they can't prove it with out me taking the breathalizer test or signing any type of confession. I got nailed for evading the police which I told the police that I thought I was in danger when I saw the vette trying to impersonate a law enforcement officer. Of course my license got suspended for refusing the sobriety test. I've contacted my lawyer and I think everything is going to alright. "Woman" and I has yet spoke for a week now.

Looking on the bright side... I smoked a Vette and couple of police interceptors..

Wow... it took you to reach 145MPH before they started flashing the lights? Good call on the cop... Being an officier, he should have used better judgement and flashed the lights MUCH SOONER. I guess he really wanted to nail you as much as possible.
