E46 M3 vs SLK 55

The 343 PS is a different measurement of HP vs the SAE that the US rating uses which is 333hp.... If anyone can tell me what part on the car is changed from US to euro let me know. I know that the E36 M3's had less HP because of emissions. But dont post a answer unless its clear and makes sense dont try and give crap about how its all in the chip because a chip on the M3 gives you no HP.
From all my quick research I have found most reveiws of the E46 M3 say something along the line of "More important to U.S. buyers, the M3 engine comes to America for the first time in the same glorious state of tune that it enjoys elsewhere in the world."
Anyways prove me wrong.

Here are the euro headers with a bit of a marketing speech:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...DUCT_ID=043901
BMW changed two obvious things on the Euro E46M3 when they brought the car to the USA - They added the yellow reflectors to the front bumper and they changed the location of the catalyst in relation to the motor. For the USA BMW moved the catalyst very close to the head, in the exhaust manifold. It was put there to heat it up faster for better cold start emissions. The detriment of this change is that it causes a loss of almost 11 HP at 7,700 rpm and 17 lb/ft torque at around 4000 rpm. Well, we have a way of getting that HP back. Installing the Euro header and catalyst is a direct bolt on way to increase horsepower and torque. These factory original parts bolt on to the USA/Canada car and are supplied with all the necessary gaskets - even copper manifold nuts ! (You will need to lengthen the wires on your existing oxygen sensors) A Specially Tuned Software (Shark Injector) for this kit is available to maximize drivability and power - we highly suggest this. What you will notice is a "night and day" difference in the power band - the motor is smoother, the car accelerates faster and some of the "rasp" of the stock exhaust is gone-although there is only a 11hp gain by installing this system the 17lb/ft of torque increase at low rpm makes a huge difference. This is a GREAT first modification for your M3; it uses factory designed parts and does not cause reliability issues. Please note that this modification is sold for off road / race use only even though it may still pass emissions. Also available for the S54 M Coupe and Roadster!

Seriously though, I drove M&M's M3 too with the same results. So that must make him a **** driver too. The M3 is MUCH, I repeat, MUCH harder to get to go fast than the SLK is. SLK is easy. ESP off, powerbrake, let go of brake and floor the gas. Man that was hard. I was mentally drained afterwards.
Tell you guys what. We will make another video in the near future.
M&M's M3, my SLK, another STOCK SLK, a stock M3 and maybe even an RS4 and a C55 too. Until then

OK I learnt something new today. Reading the MB world forums & wondering why US M3's are weak, especially after 3rd gear, when racing 55's. Today I foound out.
Evosport sell a header which is basically the Euro version which we have stock on our cars. Then they tuned for is (as the US M3 has different tuning). Here's the graphs of a US spec M3 with the Euro headers & tuning for it:

But you've always been a liar. Here is a partial list of the lies in which I personally have busted you:
M&M gets busted lying about Car & Driver test car "not having launch control"
when, as I showed via a link to his posts, he had participated in discussion on M5 board, twice, about the car having launch control:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....5&postcount=37
M&M gets busted comparing apples to oranges, deliberately comparing slower test data
for E55 *wagon* agains M5 when he'd previously been told that this data was for the
E55 wagon:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....1&postcount=11
M&M gets busted posting a false claim about the CLS55 after I'd proven it false to him on three separate occasions by posting the actual article he was citing:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....&postcount=109
Even after proof was provided, M&M continued to lie:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....&postcount=129
M&M gets busted in a lie he'd stated repeatedly, namely that all European magazines
test their cars on "dusty airfields" and with a passenger:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....st#post1183934
M&M gets busted cherry-picking fastest M3 results, slowest C55 results to deceptively portray the M3 as being faster:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....3&postcount=35
M&M gets busted lying about having "bone stock tires" on his car, when it was actually
wearing drag radials:

https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....9&postcount=68
M&M continued to lie, stating that even though I'd found a post of his in the South Africa Audi club where he bragged about how much drag radials had helped his car's launch at about the same date from which he'd posted his timeslip, well, by golly, he actually got better times without them. But then, I found the following, where he'd actually admitted (again at the South Africa Audi forum) that he *HAD* run his best time with semi-slicks (drag radials):

M&Ms four-year-plus history of trolling other Internet forums under multiple user IDs;
(click here for other multiple instances of the same behavior):
M&M getting busted lying about "stock" M3s running 12 second 1/4 miles:
M&M getting busted lying *again* about the "stock" M3s *and* three more lies:
M&M refusing to engage in honest debate, lying about what I said, and changing the subject when proven wrong:
M&M stating he would be at a dragstrip on Sunday, then not showing up and issuing a lameass excuse when he found out a C32 was going to be there to take him up on his challenge (whoops; gee, I know I told you I was going to be there, but I decided to get my car modded--on Sunday!!)

LIKE I SAID. I E-MAILED M&M AND TOLD HIM TO COME MAKE SURE I WAS FACTUALLY CORRECT. HE CORRECTED ME ON THE ****ING DIFF. WHAT ABOUT THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Ahem. Moving on.
1hp air filter and 0hp exchaust BACKBOX won't make a difference. The diff will.

Here are some more to add to the pile. User zumbalak, who has also posted here, nailed M&M on the audiworld S4 forum posting phony pics of "his" M3 at the track--twice!
M&M gets busted by user zumbalak in Audiworld's S4 forum. First, he posts following photo of him driving his M3 at the track:
http://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/274461.phtml
Then, user zumbalak compares the photo with other photos M&M posted there of his car (he posts as "343bhp" there), and found obvious discrepancies:
http://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/274595.phtml
zumbalak then analyzed some other photos M&M posted of "him" in "his" silver M3, which had by then morphed into a smurf blue model (look at the a-piller; exterior paint is clearly smurf blue!)
M&M's original post of the pics:
http://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/274802.phtml
and zumbalak's nailing him on the smurf blue:

a) never drive an auto; and
b) never drive a hairdressers car
Rofl. He's looking at importing a C6 ZO6 from the States as we speak. Which is NOTHING like an SLK 32.
Oh, yeah, and have you ever seen a CSL in action? It's fast and **** ese.
*Edit*
CSL vs SLK 55
Hey here's that video of me vs Pitzi. Watch me launch the **** out of the SLK. CSL wasn't using launch control. Both cars running 1/2 a tank of Shell V-Power 95, the best pump gas we have. Both cars have 2 people on board. THE CSL RUNS THE SLK DOWN FROM BEHIND.
The SLK was launched like a demon and I held my foot FLAT all the way. ESP off and the gearbox in Sport mode. Even Improwimp admitted it to be accurate. So what now Einstein? TORQUE DOESN'T WIN RACES, HORSEPOWER DOES. No one races from ****ing 2000rpm.
Both cars have 265kw, but the CSL is lighter. The CSL also holds the power better to redline + has a more efficient drivetrain. Which is EXACTLY what the video shows. /end class.

Imp, here's the think about saying some-one's lying. You need to show then saying something then prove otherwise. WHere did I say that silver car on the circuit was mine? You know we have a great bunch of pals & we often drive each other's cars. Read my post again. I said, "here I am on the track". I didn't say it was my car. What does it matter anyway.
The same applies to you other bull**** claims that I lied. There is no proof at all. Get a life man.

People can certainly click on the links for themselves and decide whether or not you are honest, as I was always very meticulous when I created those posts and was sure to include your original claims and/or posts. It is quite clear to anyone who reads them that you were lying, full stop.

M&M getting busted lying about "stock" M3s running 12 second 1/4 miles:
M&M getting busted lying *again* about the "stock" M3s *and* three more lies:
M&M refusing to engage in honest debate, lying about what I said, and changing the subject when proven wrong:
M&M stating he would be at a dragstrip on Sunday, then not showing up and issuing a lameass excuse when he found out a C32 was going to be there to take him up on his challenge (whoops; gee, I know I told you I was going to be there, but I decided to get my car modded--on Sunday!!)
