SL55 K2 vs M5
M5s are mighty quick but a K2 SL55 is faster. I saw one on the highway last night and pulled alongside of him, looked at him and smiled, then hammered it and shot down the road leaving him behind doing the speed limit. I see him speeding up so I slowed down and he came along side and we both rolled our windows down, he did want to play. The K2 easily pulled away from him. We stop and introduce ourselves, and he shows me the M5. He fiddles with the buttons trying to fine where the 500 hp comes from. He finally gets it and we pull out on the highway to try again and this time he hammers it while still in the rest area, catching me by suprise. I still reeled him in. The M5s are very quick cars, SL55 K2 is faster.

Sounds quick though, once you get er set up and programmed.
Glad our AMG's brothers made ours "point and shoot".
Hey, can really hear it when that V10 starts winding??

The M5 is a very fast car but when people tune the 55k engine it's hard for anything to live with. Where are you based, I see snow?
OT. I think I remember you posted pics of your 997 somewhere on the site. If so can you tell me the link. If not i'm thinking of someone else. The new TT sounds like a fabulous motor, I haven't had the chance to try one, how does she drive?
Now go find an F430, kill it, and post it!

it would be nice if you had a pic or two, just in case you hear it from the Bimmer lovers.

CH you are family...... no disrecpect to your Beast.
However when it comes down to M3, M5 vs AMG's... you almost have to present your story with as many facts as possible or else.

I wish I could have taken pics but I just came across the guy on the highway. Opportunity knocked and I rocked (sounds corny) Yes the 997TT is black and will be on the track at NHIS tomorrow if the weather is good. I am 40 min south of Boston. I was also in Atlanta last week working my **** off and stayed in the stale downtown Hilton with useless internet access.

Gustav must have forgotten to take his meds so I made this for another board to prove my point.
Here is a pic from my track day Monday. The TT is almost going into Tripod Mode.

That's the way to do it! Is that you behind the wheel? Bet you were loving it. How did she take to the track? Compare to other things you've driven. Tiptronic or man? After stupidly selling my 02, I'm going to live vicariously through you!!
