I want to see a Z06 vs. a 65.

The outcome would be different against the E55/cls55. Same hp (nevermind the MB marketing BS) plus its a few hundred pounds less. Unfortunetly the SL needs to go on a diet.

This was talked about on a vette forum. The red zo6 that raced the 65 was far from stock. It put down 500+ rwhp.

Ref the Panama City vid: running from a roll definitely gives the advantage to the Z06. Stock for stock, it will definitely pass the SL55 at some point, but running from a dig, the outcome will likely take longer to decide (assuming Ranger's not driving the Z06!).

Panama! Panama! Not hardly. That is a stretch of I-215 on the west side of Las Vegas baby! That's one of the favorite spots for "freeway roll-on's." The one video shows the Merc running a C6-Z06. The other video is filmed inside a C5-Z06. That Z06 is highly modded, built and blown motor. Very fast, very fast indeed.
