TL type-s
some kid at my school got a new TL type-s like a month ago, and he thinks his cars is the fastest thing at our school ( which it isnt even close to being) and so hes always flying through the parking lot, well a a few weeks go we had a race on a road that goes from a 2 lane road and merges to one, and we raced from the light before it, and before it truned green he started to go like the loser that he is, and when it turned green i punched it, with a little wheel spin, but as soon as i hooked up, i flew and caught up to him, and passed him and beat him to the one lane. Then he does a ricer fly-by and goes on the other side of the street and passes me which doesnt count, so TL type-s-0 e420-1 he said that he wasnt trying (typical excuse) , then today after coming back from lunch, he was infront of me, and he wouldnt let me by and he kept going from the left lane to the right, but as soon as the road got wider i went to the left of him and my front was even with his back door, and we both gunned it, and we got even at first, but then i started to pull and got a good car lenght on him, then let it off, cause we had to turn into the school parking lot. TL type-s-0 e420-2. But the thing that i dont get is, shouldnt his car be faster than mine? i mean the numbers show that he should, he's got 300 hp. i think, and the only mod i have is a k&n filter, well i guess its the beastly torque
i think that theres somethign wrong with my car, maybe amg modded it accidently when it was being made, LOL. Well my car is now 10 years old, and still taking out these fools, im sure he wants more, ill keep u guys updated.........

He has almost 300 hp but at his max RPM... And he is missing a key thing that all hondas are missing its called torque... You have a monster load of torque that lasts for a long time which allows for quick acceleration.

I dont know about his but I have a buddy with a 2000 540i, it makes 320 HP with its 4.4 liter V8 and its dam quick.

A Stock 94/95 540i has 282hp. One hell of an engine (well not 94/95 no offense, nikasil problems...=/) Same powerout put until the face lifted E39s where power was raised to 290hp / 324lb feet of torque.

Sorry I was mixed up it makes 320+ torque. His is stock 540i with the M package.

hehe, me and Militant-Grunt were in my e320 from hell, and we slaughtered one. I saw him trying to fly up in my rear view and i punched it and he was left behing ::1-0::. second race he punched it and i made him look like he was going backwards ::2-0:: he didn't wana play anymore. well my e320 has a bit more punch then your 420. ::no idea why dyno proves it:: but me and a stock sti ran from 80-125 and he pulled a car legenth from 80-90 because i have an auto but after that we stayed the same all the way up to 125 cool guy we gave each other the thumbs up and went our different ways.

I have a chip for my 540 but I haven't installed it yet. 540's are quick cars once they're rolling.

Those TL-S's are no slouch. I was totally shocked when one challenged me on the parkway. I thought I would destroy him but I was very surpised at how quick the thing was. Obviously I beat him (and yeah, it was an easy kill), but still for a stock Acura it was fast...at least I'm guessing it was stock lol. I didn't really care enough to bother finding out.
