Not that it would have made a difference,but the R1 rider was short-shifting a few thousand before redline almost everytime.I wonder why?

Guess he isnt comfortable with all the power of the R1 yet. R1 are seriously insane bikes if you are gungho enough for it.

Do you guys seriously think the R1 coudn't pass?? That was just a looooong video of the bimmers ***, and thats all it was supposed to be. The other bike at the end proved it wasn't a matter of an M3 smokin a bike. An R6 with a remotely decent rider would have passed if he wanted too.
Now granted, that M3 driver could drive, but he did not "beat" an R1 in twisties or straight line....I don't think it was even a race.

I think they were just toying w/ one another. If that rider had more experience the Bimmer would have been left far behind.

I gotta say,that road looked pretty tight with a ton of blind corners.If you werent familiar with it,it would matter what kind of bike you were on.Been there done that

Guy almost lost his head in the first 30 seconds of the video. Had that happen to me once in the canyons, 10 bikes go flying by me on a tight corner opposite direction and one guy leans alittle to far and into my lane, thank god for him i was paying 100% attention and moved the steering wheel quick enough to avoid decapitating him.
