Your car is lighter , has a 6.0 liter V-8 with 400bhp and 400 lb-ft torque.
His M roadster is heavier, has a 3.2 liter Inline 6 with 330bhp and 262 lb-ft torque and you thought it was going to be a battle?
Definitely a kill but there was never any chance of a battle.
I doubt he was pissed , losing to a car with an engine almost twice as big is no surprise without the aid of FI.

No other reason, if you were there you'd have seen how aggressive this guy was driving before I got right behind him, he thought he owned the road... Trust me he was pissed, his fly-bye was part of his sore loser attitude..
He did get owned..

It is dude. Which is why I opened up with "Nice run." The winking smiley face implied I was merely kidding around with thericker.
Man, you C6 guys can be defensive. For the record (to quell any negative assumptions made), I, HLG600, state (keep the cameras rolling boys) that the C6 Corvette is fine performance machine, and that I am truly impressed with the updates from a C5. If they make a Z06 with paddle shift, I might even pick one up after college. But, although its interior is nice, it cannot be compared to that of the M Roadster, In My Humble Opinion.

Agreed with Andrew.. Its just a vette. An owner brought a yellow Z06 to the last AMG meet in CT (mohegan sun run) and the interior was trash, my A4 has better quality interior and its a 98... Only reason I mention interior is because if I had 70k to spend on a car, id want the interior to be a nice place to sit in. (You can't compare it to an enzo either or a lotus exige because those basically are purpose built race cars where weight saving is crucial) Granted this is a kill story forum, nice kill, but..... two different cars, you're driving a 500hp GT car vs a Mid range soft top sports car.

Hmmm....indeed you have:
Blue Ridge Regional SCCA 2006 Autox results:
http://www.brr-scca.org/Results/BRRPoints2006.html
SS class points champion won in a Z06. Of the top fifteen cars in the SS category, twelve were Corvettes.
Here are the results of a race of theirs:
http://www.brr-scca.org/Results/02262006.txt
As you can see by looking at the times, the 'vettes are quite competitive. More results here:
