1993 Cutlass Ciera SL w/ 3300 Buick Engine
97 Saturn sl2 vs cls 55
my friend an I where joyriding on his newly modified Saturn which
had just gotten an custom exhaust system put into.....
(those of which apparently give no actual HP gains but mere noise)
of course, just like a kid on xmas day, with his new toy,
he'd rev up the engine to just about any riced up,
& wanna-be rice driver around ....
and sure enough, a CRX pulls next to us on a red light,
my friend, of course.... being the avid "shifter" that he is ( note the sarcasm )
takes off almost immediately once the light turned green,
leaving the crx about 4 cars behind ....
my friend feeling like a god sent from drivers heaven, lets go of the gas and
continues to rev up like there's no tomorrow ...
then all of a sudden, a CLS55 with a little trunk emblem that read
"renntech" pulls next to my window and revs up his engine....
i couldn't hear my self think ........ sounded like a freaking V12 .....
then i look at my friend and tell him "hey dude, why dont you race him"
of course i didn't get an answer from him but man .... we got killed ....
(to those familiar with the SFV area, this happened on Winnetka ave. coming down towards the sherman way intersection)

well, at the beginning i felt kinda bad because
i was in the same car
but then later it kinda kicked in and i just couldnt
stop laughing .... i was like ...
"ahAHha , dude, you got owned"

Was the exhaust a Remus?? The ones that never fit properly and hang down at some stupid angle?

... i kinda remember seeing your car and wondered if mine looked like that with the black rims ...... (very sporty by the way) and dont know if is dropped and how much but it looks nice .... very nice actually ...
(a bit off topic)
i know this will probably sound "cheesy" for some but i was kinda thinking
about putting a black sticker on, with my forum name so that when others
see the car they can go "oh look, here's that dude from the mbworld forums"
(not a big sticker tho .... maybe 2-3 inches or something)
