Just raced a Mercedes SL55 with my 540i and.......

looks like the dyno was done through the gears.... dips are when the tranny shifts....

It still looks messed up (I know he doesnt have THAT many gears). There are too many spikes and dips. He needs to get it tuned.

lol just cause a car has the AMG badge dont mean theres nothing that can beat it... if a nowack m5 can beat an sl55 then whats the big deal?

my point being is that this m5 is tuned to 500bhp and 630nm... His car has forced induction and should be pushing out higher numbers

He already posted his numbers. It's not pushing 500bhp or higher. Check out his website as well.

337RWTQ is about the same as a Stage 1 C32 which weighs about 3600lbs.

Stage 2 C32's trap 110 with about 340RWTQ.

A tuned 335i by vishnu with 350RWHP and 390RWTQ only traps 110 and runs 13.0 to high 12's.

back to the first premise of the argument: I believe the 540 blown can outroun a stock SL55 from 0-75 as stated on the original thread.

after that.. it would be no contest.

Launching a car is the harders part of a race. Just as Gustav and his rolling races in Europe ( I just had to throw that in)

I agree. The OP, however, wrote that he was spinning AND passing the SL55.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, merely that it didn't.....
