560SL vs. E36 M3
thanks
In Europe we got a 286bhp first version which was soon uprated to a 321bhp 3.2 in the E36 M3 Evo. I had a '98 Evo edition coupe in Estoril with cream interior. I miss that car.
i used to have an m3 and i doubt that it started in the right gear, but good kill, as hlg said, anything can happen on the street
edit: maybe his car was auto, in that case its believable

And this doesn't account for driver reaction times. In rolling-start races, it's a virtual certainty that both drivers aren't going to nail the throttle at exactly the same time....if one driver nails it and then the other reacts and nails it, that can easily give up a second for the second driver to realize the first driver is racing, to make decision to race, to shift, punch it, etc....
This is why timed 1/4 mile runs are always best....you can beat someone's reaction time, but the clock doesn't lie!!

No way stck or modded should that car be keeping up with you at high speeds unless F/I.

but either way. they aren't slow and a 560 should not be able to keep up with even a stock one.
