Easy for someone who has a torque converter vs stock clutch.

Do a highway roll, my money is on Toms car, with my friends Tune he's putting down close to 290-300awhp. Not only that, Tom has mismatched rear summers and front all seasons.

lol........i can assure you there are plenty of Stage 2 S4's (Chip, Exhaust) that can beat a CLK55. The B5 S4 on stock Turbos.....can run mid to lo 12's and trap 107-114 MPH in the 1/4. Thats definitely faster than CLK55's

Just hope you don't blow the motor with all that boost If the CLK 55 had sticky tires it could run in the 12s which is impressive with no mods. But I didn't buy it for drag racing purposes.

you can run up to 25 psi safely (give or take) on a stock 2.7T motor. It is very stout and good for 575-600 chp (which is anywhere from 21-25 psi of boost). Anything after that........it is past its limits and pushing your luck

with that much boost you should be able to beat my clk55 - but there is no way k03 can handle that. they have a hard time handling 15.

stage2 is a different story. but i think from roll, the clk55 still can win (not by much though)

It oughta be a Nice race. K03s struggle to handle 15lbs of boost on a crappy tune. I currently have the strongest custom Stage1 chip. Redline is set to 7,300RPM and I surge with out having a MBC. You would honestly be suprised. I destryoed an M5 ::E39:: from an 80-140. I am honestly impressed with the manor this car can put the power down.

E-town, comon jon whats the point of driving 200 miles and paying 30 bucks in tolls and 35 to get in, then BECAUSE of this new stupid law you have to BUY a helmet if you run faster then 14.1. The helmet is 120. So I dont feel like paying close to 200 bucks to run my car on a track. Besides do you really wana race my car from a dig?

I went to E-town last yr and rented a helmet you don't have to buy one. Doing it on the street is too risky I'm not taking a chance. I got really lucky last time. I used to know this guy who had a stage 2 Cobalt SS which runs low 13s @107. When he ran my friends 06 350z which runs high 13s @102 the Cobalt got him by the 1/4 mile mark but after that the 350z starts reeling him in. My point is a boosted 4 is no match for a bigger displacement engine when you going at those speeds.

So the car with a trap speed lower by 5mph reeled in the other after the quarter mile? That makes no sense.

Trap speed is what indicates a car's performance after the quarter mile, and a car that traps 102 is simply not reeling in a car that traps 107, unless it is:

a. Driver Error
b. Car Issue
c. Misquoted Times

ooooooooh yeaaaah you can run up to 25LBS on Garrett 28s on a stock motor with no problems. Thats why whenever you open a eurotuner you always see some b5 doing something insane

A stock turbo (K03) S4 modded and tuned can definitely take a stock CLK55. Trust me.

K04 S4's...well I don't think I have to go into that.

there is no way a stage1 s4 will take a clk55.

sorry, but it just doesn't add up. clk55 weigh less and have more hp.

a stage2 s4 will be close, but the clk55 will win at higher speeds.

stage2+ (w/rs4 intercoolers) will beat a clk55 - not by much though.

i'm more than happy to meet anyone at e-town to test it out

I can get a Stage 1 S4 to trap 108 MPH with just a chip.....and trap 110+ with Chip and exhaust (Stage 2)......can a CLK55 trap higher than that?

they can trap at 109, but everyone knows that they are not meant for the 1/4 mile because of gearing and traction. from roll is a diff story
