Killed and Left for Dead by a Mustang
This particular Mustang was at the end of the slick tire group and I was at the front of the street tire so we ran head-to-head.
I had a pretty decent launch. Didn't matter. He was so fast, all I saw was his car receding into the horizon. I practically needed binoculars to see him cross the finish line.
His 9.2 second 1/4 mile time beat my 12.9 by over three seconds. He passed the finish line and was coasting to the turn-out before I even reached 1,000 feet.
Okay, technically I won because he red-lighted but it was no moral victory. That Stang was incredibly fast.
Still cant break 12 but hopefully that will change soon-Joker

Last time I was at the track a guy was running 10.40's @ 144 on race gas with drag radials, blown 427
, with a best of 9.60's @ 155+ on drag radials, yes full street car driven to and from track 960+ RWHP....although mind blowingly impressive this is not uncommon in the mustang/supra world

I've only done test-and-tune runs at Milan but the track has been terrific each time. Nice folks there, too.
A Veyron is a factory hyper sports car (or supercar--whatever people like to call them). You're comparing apples and oranges. That Mustang was a track car. It might have been a streetable track car, but it's a car built to live its life down the quarter mile either way. VW engineers did not build the Veyron to do the same.
And by the way, these Mustangs are heavily modified. Oh, you already knew that?
Mr.Turbo biks are slow, everyone into dragracing bikes knows better, but since you are not I will take my time to inform you otherwise. Why post a link from Europe instead of the USA?Who the hell cares what there doing over there, they aint as fast as us by any means
Velocity Racing is the top player, and here in the Tri-State area there are HUNDREDS of 8sec&7 sec bikes that are street legal.I'm at the track every weekend&I know what I'm talking about.I don't need to Google anything,I'm in the loop my friend.I've been racing bikes since 1990

I have friends that run 9's on there 600's and I also have friends with 600rwhp Velocity prepped busa'a running deep in the 7 second range.I also own 2(two) 8 second streetbikes,a '05 GSXR-1000 & a '00 Busa
Apparently the people you see running at the track have there head up there *** and would be better suited to driving a car instead
If you STILL dont want to believe me,pop on over to www.psychobike.com and lurk a bit.You would be amazed at how fast streetbikes are going for the skilled pilots who ride them
And that 8.25@296mph must be an amazing bike
Go re-check your numbers,sir.
The fastest streetbike in america runs 7.25@20.17mph,please attempt to prove me otherwise.
I'm bored&just had alot of Starbucks coffee.........
