C6 ZO6 track times

C6 ZO6 track times
Just took a friends ZO6 to the track. We installed Kooks longtube headers, no cats, Corsa exhaust, mild cam, CNC ported heads and intake manifold, hand ported throttle body, double springs, titanium retainers, air intake, Techstrailia clutch, custom dynotuned ecu to 600rwhp, Michelin 345's on stock wheels, 285's in front. Best 60ft we could muster with all the power on a bull**** track was a 2.2 and it led to a 11.3 @ 133. Car absolutely ate another guys F430 Spyder who came for the ride to the track.

Yo Johnny!!! So Roy botched the launch but made up for it down the stretch! That car should be in the 10's, without a doubt.

Your Supra's going to the track this Sunday. You down? Car's a handfull, but I think we can squeeze low 11's out of her. Final numbers are 580rwhp on pump and 19psi. Then I backed it down a pound of boost to 18 and pulled 1 degree of timing and made 568rwhp to keep it perfectly safe. I am a beleiver in those Pirrelli's now. BFG's dont even hold that well.

It made 598rwhp on a Dynojet Dyno. I think I didn't mention the electric water pump. 133mph also translates to about 590rwhp as well. 530rwhp sounds kind of low for your numbers, not sure. There are tons of different cam and head porting combos though.
Here is the Vette at Pocono Raceway!! We absolutely hammered down on our car and it took every ounce of punishment with an extra 150whp from stock!
Before you watch the video, know that I dont think the driver of the black Challange car posted here is a ****ing ******* at all. We were just fired up like hell having fun controlling 600rwhp around the turns. Take no offense at all from what I said. You even see the owner of the Vette do a little off roading going into the first turn. It's halarious. Once again, that was an amazing CS, and it was more fun than anything to hang with them at the track.

I too am impressed with the ZO6 but am put off by the interior, I guess they had to skimp on something...fantastic performance and by all accounts nearly as good as a GT3 and much faster.

GM knows the interior is an issue with many. They are addressing that with a $4,000-$5,000 option where everything will be covered in a very nice leather. Heck, I may even take a look at the Vette when they get the interior as nice as their German competitors.

What's the point of posting z06 times on a Benz Kill forum. OK you did kill a Ferrari 430.
Better posted on Corvette Forums were they will tell you stock Vetts are traping 129 mph so, your 600 rwhp might be questions over there.

You know you don't have to read it? the title says it all yet you click in here to be a downer, there are plenty of Lambo, Ferrari, etc.. kills track times posted here yet you seam to have a prob w/the bowtie

I REALLLLLLY Like his car..........and yes it would TOAST his Porsche's (No offense to your Porsche's as they have a Tremendous racing heritage, but facts are facts and he would SMOKE you, not to mention that the Vette's have a pretty WICKED racing heritage too, just not as long)!

I agree that the OEM interior needs a bit of work compared to our cars, but did you see Yaroslav's interior? His is NOT your typical GM interior and it's Nicer than the one in our MB's!

I wouldn't care if Hyundai made this car
as long as it performed, looked exactly the same, It's funny you don't see Vipers getting this much heat even though there made bt DodgeMy guess is the Viper only comes in (1) top expensive model while the Vette comes in multi lower level base offerings ie NON Z51 pak, or Non Z06 model...Yet still KICKS ***!!

Well its not like people won't recognize that its a Corvette lol. And I think that when 95% of people see a 'Vette, they don't go "look at the Chevy." Corvettes have been an icon for decades and they have always been the hottest american sports car. When I think of Chevy I think Impala, Tahoe, etc. Corvette is a legend and the new C6 models have further immortalized the Corvette name into the history books (car magazines lol). Whether it has a cheap interior or not, were else for $45k can you get a car with an exotic looking exterior and performance that is on par with or even beats a 911 Turbo (last issue of car & driver I believe).
