Fun times out there! Tom your car is too loud! But I thought your car was going to be quicker considering you have the same engine as the c36. Again my c36 with only 268hp is a close race with the c43 with 302hp.

No mention of a stock turbo A4 staying ahead of you till 90 both from a dig and 40mph roll?

Well after 90 I passed you like you were standing still. Also from 40 I was in overdrive 4th gear. You have a manual so you was in the right gear. When I raced Carls c43 with the c55 engine with my 350z I kept up to 80. After that he just blew past me like I did to your a4.

But, considering I have about 50hp LESS than you, 2 cylinders less, not a hand built engine, weigh about the same. I still have a much quicker 0-60 time and I keep to a reasonable speed of 90mph ahead of you, thats almost a 1/4 mile man.

When the K04 comes back in the mail, the C36 is toast still with less power than you

Just face it bro you have a slower car even with all those mods. Mine is bone stock with 94k+ miles. We could run again from a dig to 130 you will be bus lengths back

Also by the 1/4 mile my c36 hits about 100mph which means I still beat you like 2 cars.

Wow, my point flew completely over your head. I have a MUCH weaker car thats disadvantaged in every possible way, just admit the fact that I kept you pressed as much as I did is impressive, because had we been racing through a road course or auto cross your car would've been seconds a lap slower. I'm at 120k, being the 5th owner, and picked up the car in terrible condition so don't flatter yourself.

Actually there you are wrong.

Your 0-60 is 6.0 seconds and your 1/4 mile is 14.5.

And Guess what, I went to English Town last night and ran a 15.095. With all season tires, a trunk full of ****, 3/4 tank, and not being used to my new Manual boost controller. So buddy you ain't that much quicker.

And in case you don't believe me, my run will be on you tube whenever my friend uploads the footage

With a 2.0 60ft my c36 runs 14.0@99mph. Meaning 0-60 is in the mid 5s. That is a huge difference. You just dont get it

Mag times doesnt mean ****. Motor Trend tested the 07 350z which ran 13.7@104. The best time for a stock 07 Z at E-town was a 13.4@104. There is no use in arguing with you.

I think you're missing the point, which was explained pretty clearly in post #59.

Timeslip? Otherwise
If your 0-60 is in the mid 5's mine must be mid 4's because my car completely just leaves you for dead under 60. Its not happening Jon, go to the track post some timeslips, I'm willing to bet its very close to that 14.5

Jon you're the one that doesn't get it. Even another member is pointing this out to you.

i'm curious to see a timeslip. a c43 with a 55 motor only runs 13.5, a c43 should be 14ish. so i'm curious to see a timeslip.

Carls c43(c55 engine) ran a 13.3 with a poor launch. Also going by Road and tracks time the c43 ran 5.9 14.4@99 in the 1/4 vs c36s 6.0 14.5@98. As you know its clearly faster than those times.

When my car gets hot,the ecu cuts the timing. Resulting in sluggish takeoff. I know my cars very well.

My best time for the c36 was a 13.5@102 on my Beltimer in 40degrees vs 14.0@99 in 80degrees same road. I took the Beltimer to the track and it was within <.1sec.

Jon, how is your best time 13.5 when you don't pass me until past 90, when my quarter mile is at 88 miles per hours, that means your 1/4 is slower than mine.

Remember I have witnesses to confirm this.
