I am on my way to lunch. Three lane road, no cars or traffic in front, all is clear. I am in the far left land and there is a car to my right. My passenger and I are trying to find a good place for a quick lunch. Light turns green and I see and hear this metallic gray Roush Mustang on the far right lane that has floored it and then suddenly slowed down. It is one of those Roush Mustangs that is supercharged, has all the Roush markings all over the car, modified exhaust and carbon fiber hood, some gauges on the A pillar. I do not think much about it, until the driver looks over at me. I have to move over to the far right lane to get to the lunch spot, so I just so down so that he could move forward out of the way and I could then get to the far right lane. Nope, he just matches my slow speed. I am still on the far left lane so I speed up and so does he. Ok, so he wants a race. I floor it and say bye bye. I have now moved to the middle lane and stopped at the next light. I am not sure of which light I need to turn right and am trying to figure where the lunch spot is. The light is red, all clear in front, on a three lane road. The mustang pulls up to my right (far right lane) and I can tell it is a manual, as the car is moving back and forth a little and he is revving his car. The light turns green, he floors it and I say why not. I floor it - with my esp on- and the race is quickly over. I move over to the far right lane, he moves into the middle, I give him a thumbs up and he asks "What do you have in that thing? with the funniest, confused look I have ever seen - it was priceless. I guess he never thought a wagon was faster. Light turns green and I realize its the next right for me. Again, clear three lane, no traffic in front. He is now matching my speed. I figured he did not want any more, but he is matching me and looking over at me. He then floors it, I then floor it and quickly I pass him. It was not even close. He gave up. That priceless look on that guys face still makes me laugh.

Nice run. In L.A., many of the 55 and 63 wagons are debadged making them even more of a surprise package. Your dyno results are very impressive too, worth the money for sure.

Good kill man, I would love a AMG wagon one day. They are so rare, I can search autotrader for the whole country and only find 2-3.
