C32 AMG vs. Evo 9MR

Although I myself dont own a C32 AMG, my sister does hahaha... How ironic is that l0l... Anways while my car was in the dealer my sister let me drive around her car... At about 11 a clock at night when i was coming back from my friends house, i raced a Evo 9mr with his girlfriend in the passenger seat.... I had two other people in my car and wow... I thought it would be a pretty even match but i guess shifting really is important ahahhaa... I was pulling on him from the get go... At about 100 or so i had about 5 cars... It was a clean kill no doubt... We raced about 4 times... Luckily getting stopped at each stop light hahaha... Thought that he would win forsure though... Guess its kinda hype...

They are very overrated unless they dump some money into them in modding. Raced a guy here at work with one from about 30mph to over 100mph and he was a dot in my SLK55 rearview when I lifted at about 107mph.

They put up good 0-60mph(gearing and tuning setup), which I think is overrated...car mags should go to 0-80mph now since most highways are 70mph and it would show a much bigger difference in the performance of cars(some mags do post it when testing), but after that they run out of steam.

Nice kill. C32 has been clocked at 10.8secs to 100mph so no surprises.

In future, try typing proper sentences. This text talk makes my head hurt.

when i had my Evo, I killed every M3 (since they think they are gods for some reason) I see. Killed a vette, camaros, firebirds, supra turbo, S4s, 3000GT vr4s, the list goes on and on but I never tend to see a MB race with me. I did lose to a heavily modded S4 (the older ones with turbos) and a heavily modded civic (one i raced had 500 whp). Also lost to a viper. I remembered one time I finally got to race a CLK55 AMG in Canada. We were at about 40 mph on the highway and we gunned at it. I pulled about 3 car lengths up until 100. At about 110, I saw the CLK getting a little bigger in my rearview. At about 120, it was significantly bigger. At 150, he was neck to neck with me. Reason number one why I decided to get rid of the Evo and got a CLK55. Reason number two was that the car was too damn low.

The mods I had on the Evo were HKS Racing Suction Intake, HKS downpipe, High flow cat, HKS exhaust, Ralliart spark plug wires, 2.5" intercooler piping, 272/264 HKS cams (idled like a tank), a very good tune and a list of other mods I forgot. Cams did help the top end but nothing beats a V8 on the top end.

Nothing replaces cubic inches...plus a 4 banger making 500hp vs. a v8 making 500hp the 4banger is under a heck of lot more stress.

I miss my EVO sometimes, the only Cars that beat me were Camaro SS running 200 shots and a Supra. Never raced a mercedes ever.

once u own an evo, u would want something else IMO. U had your fun for 3 years, it gets boring. A Lotus Exige S really sounds like a nice toy

I test drove a modded evo, with over 20psi boost. It was the fastest car I have ever driven. With four people in it, the car had more pulling power in 6th gear than my c32 had in 3rd.

They are great little cars.
