for being a stock CL 55 it was able to hang...
CL55 weigh hundres more than a CLS or E class..
I think the Title should read "don't mess with a few EVO's" not all ...but few are beast slayers.

Unless there is a decent chunk of work done to it, they run out of steam once into the triple digits. Handle well and launch brutally, but need some serious compensation to run with the Germans after the quarter mile.

I was referring to BPU, but reading my last post over, I realize it can be interpreted as more. Heavily modified, these things are a force to be reckoned with. But in detuned OEM trim, absolutely nothing special on the highway. With some BPU, however, they will begin to hold their own. This is all in regard to highway pulls. Handling is an entirely different scenario.

yes it was an fq 400 ...lol it does stand for f***ing quick...... but the best evo out of the fq series is the fq 320 .. less money little less power ....but same grip... the fq 400 only runs on certain fuel from bp ..forgot which one ... Evo's rule , i am a evo freak
