Over 370 ft-lb's of torque in a 3400lb car with a light *** and mere 245's in back. I certainly don't expect the thing to be stationary under full throttle pumping smoke out of the wheel wells, but traction can easily become an issue with varying road and tire conditions...enough to slow things down a bit.

Nice 60' time. DR's will certainly improve the hookup...noticeably more than the standard rubber. I had comical amounts of traction issues running 225's in back during the winter, especially with TC disengaged. My 275's fared far better...although I have pretty much run my existing rear Dunlop's down into slicks after 15,000 spirited miles. Fresh Bridgestone 275/35's arrived today though!

2007 Subaru STi, 2005 Acura RL
Hey guys, I was reading about what your Evo issues. I think you really give the Evo X too much credit. For the money they have a lot to offer, but they fall on their heads, run out of gears and looks early. I am really suprised that some of you would worry about an Evo. From the dig, they might be able to up and go, if the driver is used to it. From a roll, they have lag to deal with and a small engine to power that turbo. After riding in some of a few of these other cars that I see in your signatures, I know they will own my 400whp STi, and I'll own many Evo's.

EVO's and STi's both have a two common problem / fear that makes them deadly to some. 1. Their extremely tuneable. and.....2 they fall on their faces after 100-120. An evo/sti from a roll isn't all that fast but off the line their monsters. Gota love AWD launches

Modded Evo's can be a nightmare. GT-35r or GT37r Turbo'd Evos are devistating, both from the dig and on a roll. You need something SERIOUS to beat one of those on the streets.
