Cars Your Car Has Beaten Or Was Beaten By
List them...please say Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution as one of your "kills", I foolishly tried racing one today and got stomped on lol (was driving a VW GLI), when I get the C63 AMG or my second on the list for my next car the Audi S5 I will be on the hunt for the Evo's for revenge lol.

Was it an Evo X? The original post never specified. Many EVOs (thought not all) driving around have various modifications. Most that are willing to race have some kind of modification. Because the EVOs are easily tuned, it is more than likely that the EVO will be the faster car. I don't think a stock EVO X will beat a stock Audi S5. But if you think getting a C63 or an Audi S5 is going to beat up on a bunch of random EVOs, you are mistaken. There are many fast ones out there.

I spanked a brand new white Evo X the other day. After realizing he had no chance, he tried racing through traffic to make up for his power deficit. I beat him at that too, but shut it down at a certain point as there was nothing left to prove. He pulled up to me in typical guido fashion, "yo son your sh*t is OUT. Let's race," and this was right after I blew his doors off. So I had him follow me onto the highway and as soon as we lined up, he darted to the next exit and chickened out.
Stock Evos are pretty quick cars. Modded Evos are a completely different story.

stock for stock , S5 would take the evo on the top end , since they are both AWD , the evo doesnt get the launch advantage when vs other RWD cars.
I havent seen a stock evo and moded those things are hard to beat with any stock car. some AMS built ones are badass.

yeah the S5 is just a real head turner and can hold its own when parked even beside exotics, those LED DRL's are amazing...should I go for looks/performance (S5) or straight up performance (C63 AMG), one is a coupe the other is a sedan, they are both in the same price rance, both have V8's, Audi vs Merc...tough decision. But if a stock Evo can beat a stock S5 I might just go for the AMG.

Honestly as much as I like the looks the S5 doesnt have the power, I mean all the new Audi cars are underpowered, Merecedes upgraded from C55 to C63, Bmw M3 from 6cy to V8 but Audi S4 still uses the same 4.2.
what else have you considered , go and testdrive an Is-F and M3 sedan

Im not a street racer but I do want enough power and torque to handle myself out there against the big boys (RS4's, CLK's, Vette's, M3's, etc), I dont want my next car to be easily manhandled, especially by a stock Evo X. Coupe or sedan, it doesnt really matter to me...all I know that right now its a toss up between the S5 and the AMG, there is a really long waiting list for the S5 though here in Canada.
Looks = S5, definitely
Performace = AMG
PS: STOCK Evo's are faster than the C63...REALLY?

No, not at all. But from where I'm from, anybody who races with or even drives aggressively with an Evo, has some work done to it. 400hp+ easy. They range from the stock 300-900hp. You never know what you'll run into.
The C63 is a very quick stock car though. If you want brutal highway power, checkout the C63.

900hp...holy mother of god, where your from is very different from where im from then lol...your z06 ever gotten beaten by one of those?...overall though the s5/amg is about 2 classes above the evo...

If you dont have a preference for 4 doors or 2
I 'd go for Z06 ( 08 models are going for $64-67k), minor boltons and you will be at 500+ rwhp easy and Z06 being really light would result in a highway monster(N/A)
If you want to go FI then go for an Ls3 with a turbo kit or a procharger (600rwhp) more money to spend on mods

lol i know its easier said than done. obviously you cant just bolt on a "big ol' turbo" to the S5. I was just being lazy and thought of a way for the OP to get his S5 and make it faster than EVOs (some at least). Obviously, putting a turbo on an S5 is gonna cost mega mega bucks. probably 10K+ being that i doubt such a kit exists right now for that car.
I love the voice though....lol....too good.

One time I was driving in my car with my GF. When these 2 idiots cut in front of me and almost lost it up ahead cutting another car. 
Doing it on a open road with no traffic is a different matter.
