Your worst nightmare...
Just read the post. Ricker...Datalog your car, something is definitely making it loose power.

The day I loose to a 335, will be the day I trade this CL. Just don't see it happening unless he is runnning a hell of a shot (NOS).

SL600's do not trap 120 mph in stock form, @ best 115-117mph but average is more like 113-114mph.... 120mph is stock 65amg territory, chipped 600 should trap 122-125 mph @ best..

Marios 335i is kool & all but I want this to be the last time I see the tail end of it!!

Stock SL600 should eat the tuned 335i alive at 20mph roll. Even when my SLK55 was stock (360hp), I easily beat a Dinan ecu'd 335i from a roll. That SL600 needs to be dyno'd to see if its making proper power IMO.

Bro I beat lots of fast cars up till this latest run, either Marios Beta testing Stage 3 Juicebox is lethal or somethings up w/my 600 she goes into dealer tmara @8am

I highly doubt a SLk55 could beat Marios 335i, when my C6 vette was nearly bone stk (only had cat-back) I ran & beat a stock SLK55 from this Forum, when Mario ran the modded 2007 C6 w/faster A6 tranny and 430+ rwhp he kept up pretty good.... He'd beat a stk C6 NO problem

Did you read my OP? we never ran from 20mph I said "40-50mph" and then only to about 100mph...

Also Marios bro David was following us during our runs, he said "Marios car would squat down on the launch & mine didn't" Somethings gotta be up

That being said, the R230 SL600 also shares this mod-friendly characteristic. So ricker, get on that bro!

Also, I was browsing around VRP's site and that Scorpion intake setup is making me drool. Any idea what kind of power gains it has over the OEM box?
Sorry bro I missed your post, I'm going to get any airbox mod they offer plus ECU & lowering maybe a couple more depending on what they can do for my 600! I agree the Scorpion airbox looks evil!

ECU and new airbox will be killer. Should get some excellent gains.

Yes, I'm just dying to get down to VRP I guess this loss is good it forces me to get the dealer to make certain she's tip top before adding loads of power..

I got a feeling you have a IC issue or a coilpack heading south on the V12.
Somethings keeping your car down like 10% of HP.

It going into limp mode means something is a miss.

Report back when you get it sorted out.

Then Mario had his own thread.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=160738&page=3
This is going to be 1 heck of a good re-match

How did the stealer treat you? Back to full health you should be okay, with ECU it'll be an easy walk. 335i drivers often plague my daily drives. I ignore 99 percent of them but when I have caved in I've never ran into a quick one

We live pretty close to each other, I have always wanted to race an E60 M5 with my 335i would you be up for it?

Let me know what happens today Sean, hopefully they get the SL fixed in one day.

Stock 335 with only Juicebox 3 download was dyno'ed at 355 hp to the rear wheels. With intake and less restrictive aftermarket exhaust, it's putting down almost 400 to the wheels. JB3 will be the greatest bang for the buck at only $800.

I'll call you later bud, gotta tell you something...

It was funny, the dealership here is really slow business wise right now so I got the red carpet treatment, met 1 of the head mechanics who went straight to work on my 600, he must've asked me twice if I'd done anything like ECU tune I answered honestly NOPE all stock except for the cat-back tubing...

Just eager to hear from them, I left them quite a laundry list (Old little probs I've been meaning to take care of, ie prob w/nav voice cntrl etc..) doubt it'll be ready today, my DC warranty allows full rental car so I'll see what POS they'll give me to beat on later today..

News-flash!! SA just called 1 prob they found, a couple of motor mounts are collapsed they are replacing them, this happened on my crummy S430

Mario, tic, toc, the bell tolls for thee

those are some pretty high gains, I am impressed,
how reliable is the car after that or does it turn in to a gernade
