A speedo is about as accurate as a butt dyno. I am sure a GPS based guage would show a true top speed of low 150's. I have tried it myself in my Jeep SRT8....and there is no way in stock form it goes more than 152mph. Do you know for sure that Jeep in the video is 100% stock? Well I am sure the one I owned was 100% stock and it hit a brick wall in the high 140's.

The jeep is an impressive hole shot suv, but that's about it. It can get a car length jump on some, but then it's about over. Kind of reminds me of the old Cyclone and Typhoon AWD SUV and truck.

I'm having a hard time believing the 1.7 60fts but I guess with the comfort-mode weight shift and the low-end torque, it could be possible.

However, it is very track-prep dependent and obviously driver, too. The Jeep is consistent every time.

That's another nice dig there. I'll respond in kind. You've got anger issues because someone called BS on your once-in-a-lifetime 60ft that no one has ever been able to repeat? Like scores of others only achieving it with DRs or slicks with far lighter cars? Or lighter AWD cars with a clutch dump?

Or was the track prepped just for you? I guess the "comfort mode" works wonders.

Maybe next time video tape it and send it to Toyo so they can market those tires as an alternative to DRs and slicks...

Interestingly, searching for cars of similar power and weight, but AWD - the 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R revealed some interesting data.

The GT-R seems to be in the 1.8 60ft range, the 911 TTs in the 1.7 60ft range. Both with trap speeds the same or higher than you.

It seems the only cars capable of 1.6 60fts are trapping into the 130s. So basically a 1.67 60ft seems to translate to a 3.0 - 3.2 0-60time.

So was it the 60mph tailwind or the higher-than-stock stall torque converter?

You need to do a lot of research, I guess.

I've never actually seen a magazine go down the 1/4 mile in my 19 years of racing, but I've seen plenty of know-it-all kids who were more than happy to give me their parent's money at the end of the race.

Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I swear the guy I beat didn't cry as much as you....

The pass was the third of three on a regular test-and-tune night. I posted up the whole thing for your 'research' here on the forum.

I guess knowing how to drive and owning a tuning company counts for nothing these days. I guess I should just sell it all and buy American.

Try reading my write-up on drag racing in the E55 forum. It might help your 'research.'

A stage 1 LET car just went 11.41 @ ~120 this weekend.

A car can do 1.40 60 fts and only trap 112, depends on where the car makes power. I raced the Wonder Bread Wagon she 60' at 1.4x and ran 11.80@112 vs my 1.8 12.0@116.4, she has way less hp but a trrans brake and tq converter, car explodes the settles , fun race as I try to reel her in.

60 ft time really is not an indication of a cars trap speed at all.

I ran a 1.66 60' last year and only trapped 120mph
