SL65 vs C6 vette coupe

SL65 vs C6 vette coupe
This past weekend I got to smack around a C6 vette, poor guy. He had some exhaust work done at the very least as it was very loud. I was coming up behind him on the a highway in Mexico at a pretty brisk pace. I couldn't get around him so I was on his bumper. When the other lane cleared up he floored it and so did I at about 65mph. I came around him and ran right by him and put a few car lengths on him then merged into his lane and hit the flashers and let off the gas. He then moves over and proceeds to do a ricer flyby.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I had the top down in my car when this happened.

the only thing unbelievable about your story is that a corvette owner went over 65mph.

No, he was racing. He downshifted and floored it right as the other lane cleared up. Couldn't miss the exhaust note. He was WOT as I ran by him. He wanted to show the merc who was boss after running up on his bumper. Just didn't turn out so well for him.

Keep in mind The TX summer heat has a very bad effect on all these cars. When I was at the dragstrip a few weeks ago there were 3 C6 coupes there running. All of them were running 13.5-14 and trapping 106 tops. There were also 2 Ford GT500s there and they were running the same. I pulled off an 11.96 at 119. DA was 2768ft that night.

Ya, that would have been cool. Get some mods on there and you would be good to go with the Z06.

Nice run!! That translates into an 11.57 @122.84 at 0 DA.

Good kill dude, though it's not all that impressive. At least that Vette owner learned that he's not anywhere close to the top of the food chain.
