How do you think the C32 will fair?

I am not going to do a dig because of the 4:10's. I imagine he would pull me out of the whole with the lower gearing. We are going to get together hopefully this weekend and do some highway pulls and hopefully get them on video.

My C32 is bone stock.

This was the post and video of the stang against a 335 XI.

Sorry this is not a finshed raced but I wil post the results and or video when we run.

Open to all thoughts good or bad for the C32

u should win. I have a friend with the last mustang, fully bolt on, street tires, automatic. When I was stock I'd always beat him, all in all ran him about 10 times and lost only when my ic pump wasnt working.
remember to use speedshift and keep the AC off

Can you help me with the speed shift? I was reading up on it and did not fully understand how it works. Something with holding the shifter to the left or something for a couple sec's? I imagine he will want to go from a dig and then go from 40-50 MPH.

Whenever I use the tip and switch to the next gear I never take my foot off the gas. Good or Bad?

Let me take a stab at it. So if we are going from a roll tip it to a gear that puts me at about 4K RPM' and then hold the shifter to the left for 2 sec's and that will even put the car in a better TQ range. Then hit it and keep tipping through the gears right before redline. When I am tipping through the gears do not take my foot off the gas.

I have not had an issue beating stock GT's but never ran a bolt on. Just want to make sure I optimize all the power the C32 has for a good showing.

You're overthinking the process bud. All you do is either slowly stroke the speedshift to the left twice, this should put you in the 5000+rpm range, that is where you want to be for a blast off launch. 4krpm isn't bad.
That is one way of doing.
The second way is very similar and is what I use:
1.)steady your car to the speed you will be rolling at (for example 30mph)
2.)once you're steady hold the shiftknob to the left, you will see "D" change into "2" (for gear two) On the display (when you're at 30mph). You will also notice a slight rpm increase 1k-2k. Here is the trick:
3.)now just stroke the shifter to the left one more time to send the car into first (at 30mph). The car will roar like a **** and the rpm's will be in the 5000 range. Be very careful with this as I'm not responsible for any damages to your car this may cause. However if you want to beat this guy, this is the best chance you have. I'd make a how to video, but my car is still in the ****ing shop!

Good luck man! Let me know how it goes and throw in a field report! I'll be glad to guide you through!

Oh and if you have time, go ahead and practice the 30mph roll on a straight (in Mexico) it will make you respect our cars once again, I was hot **** when I figured it out

All that foot on gas pedal stuff you're worrying about is rubbish. If you went into manual correctly the displaywill show #1-4 (speed designation) instead of "D" (drive).

I got the speed shift now, Thanks. I will just manually tip the car into the gear that will have me sitting like 5K RPM's. I usually just tip down each gear until I get the car into the gear that will get the RPM's high enough for the speed I am going.

So all speed shift is, is me using the tip feature.

I will see if we can get it on video if not I will post the results. He puts about a car on this 335XI auto that is stock. So I would think my stock C32 should be a bit quicker than the stock AWD 335.

I guess we will see.
